Awakening Pleasure EFT Tapping Meditation
by Lucy Love
In this meditation, we’re using the Emotional Freedom Technique, also known as EFT or "tapping," as a way to awaken more bodily pleasure in the present moment. There are five rounds of tapping. The first two will help you accept where you are and how you’re feeling right now, and the last three are designed to open up more pleasure in your body.

Welcome to this week's Purely Being Meditation.
Today we're using the Emotional Freedom Technique,
Also known as EFT or Tapping,
As a way to awaken more pleasure in your body and your experience here and now.
If you're unfamiliar with the tapping points,
I recommend clicking the link that I've shared in the show notes titled Tapping Points and familiarizing yourself briefly with the nine points.
This will just make it easier to relax and listen to my voice and really get the full experience of this transformational method.
So,
When you're ready,
Close down your eyes,
Bringing your awareness to the breath,
Starting to fill and release the air from your lungs with a little more intention,
A little more depth,
And out,
And out,
Inhale,
Receiving the breath deep in the core of your belly,
And exhale,
Release,
Again,
Inhaling through the nose,
Filling up,
And exhaling,
Letting it all go,
Once more,
Breathing in,
Filling up all the way,
Sipping in a little more air at the top,
And then letting it all go with a big sigh,
Surrendering all effort for a moment,
Letting yourself breathe naturally as you let your thoughts dissolve and relax and settle even more deeply into your now,
Checking in with the body,
Checking in with how you feel right now,
And just getting a soft sense of it,
Slowly scanning from the top of your head,
Down through your shoulders,
Your arms,
Chest,
Side body,
Moving down through your legs,
And all the way to your feet,
Noticing any areas of tightness,
Any areas of softness,
And just letting it be ok as it is,
Staying soft and spacious in your awareness,
Taking in the whole of you like you're checking the weather,
Just getting an overall sense of the sea of sensations,
The emotional climate within you right now,
And I want you to ask yourself,
On a scale of 1 to 10,
How much pleasure am I feeling in my body right now?
Just checking in,
Not judging,
Letting the answer be what it is,
Perfectly so,
And taking a nice deep breath in through the nose,
And letting it go,
Ahhh,
And let's begin our tapping sequence,
You can open your eyes here if you're in front of a mirror,
We'll start with our setup statement,
Tapping the karate chop point on the side of your non-dominant hand,
And now affirm silently or aloud,
Even though I feel this way,
I love and accept myself.
Even though I feel this way,
I love and accept myself.
Take a deep cleansing breath in and out,
And moving your four fingers up to the top of your head,
Tapping and repeating,
This is how I feel right now.
Now with two fingers on your inner eyebrow,
And that's okay.
Moving to the side of your eye,
I feel this way right now.
Under the eye,
And that's okay.
Under your nose,
It's okay to feel this way.
In the cleft of your chin,
There's nothing wrong with feeling how I feel.
Just below your collarbone,
Again with four fingers,
This is where I'm at right now.
Under your arm,
Along your upper side ribs,
Even though I feel this way,
I love and accept myself.
And now back to the top of your head,
I honor my current state of being,
And let myself relax.
Now with two fingers on your inner eyebrow,
There's nothing I need to do here.
Side of your eye,
There's nothing I need to change.
Under your eye,
I let myself feel how I feel right now.
Under your nose,
It feels good to accept myself.
Cleft of your chin,
This is how I feel right now.
Collarbone with four fingers,
I feel this way.
Under your arm,
And I love and accept myself as I am.
And moving back to the karate chop point,
Reaffirming our setup statement.
Even though I feel this way,
I love and accept myself.
Even though I feel this way,
I love and accept myself.
Even though I feel this way,
I completely love and accept myself.
Let your hands rest in your lap for a moment,
Take another deep breath,
And notice how you feel now.
On a scale of one to ten,
How much pleasure do you feel in your body?
Wherever you are is absolutely perfect and good.
If you feel called to,
You can repeat the sequence we just did again from the beginning,
Before we move into our second sequence where we'll be opening to more pleasure.
And if you're ready for that,
Let's just take another big breath in.
Easy,
Slow,
Yummy exhale.
Ahhhh.
Beginning again with the karate chop point,
Using four fingers.
Affirm.
I am open to experiencing the pleasure of now.
I am open to experiencing the pleasure of now.
I am open to experiencing the pleasure of now.
Top of the head,
I love the idea of feeling pleasure in my body.
Inner eyebrow,
It's good to feel good.
Side of the eye,
It's good to feel pleasure.
Under the eye,
It's safe for me to feel pleasure in my body.
Under your nose,
I'm open to the idea of experiencing more pleasure now.
Chin,
I allow myself to experience pleasure now.
Collarbone,
I accept that there's so much pleasure here for me.
Under your arm,
I welcome pleasure into my body now.
Top of the head,
I breathe this pleasure in and out.
Inner eyebrow,
I welcome a state of continuous ease and sheer bliss.
Side of the eye,
I receive and claim my pleasure now.
Under the eye,
I let myself feel it fully.
Under the nose,
Blissful pleasure is my birthright.
Chin,
I soak in the pleasure of now.
Collarbone,
I love feeling good.
Under the arm,
This good feeling belongs to me.
Top of the head,
It's safe for me to feel this way.
Inner eyebrow,
I can relax into this feeling.
Side of the eye,
This is a good feeling.
Under the eye,
I like this.
Under the nose,
I like feeling this way.
Chin,
Yummy,
Ooey gooey pleasure is mine to receive.
Collarbone,
I'm worthy of this good feeling.
Under the arm,
Thank you body for receiving this good feeling.
I love experiencing pleasure in my now.
And back to the karate chop point,
Affirming I am deeply thankful for the pleasure of now.
I am deeply thankful for the pleasure of my now.
I am deeply thankful for the pleasure of now.
Let your hands come to rest in your lap or on your legs.
Taking a big breath in and letting it go.
Closing your eyes,
Deepening and settling into this moment.
Simply letting yourself soak and bask in the pleasure that's available to you to experience fully and completely in your now.
Noticing on a scale of 1 to 10 how much pleasure you feel in your body now.
And letting this number be perfect and good as it is.
Taking a big breath in and letting out a loud sigh or moan on the exhale.
Deepening your pleasure through the use of sound and breath.
And doing that again if it feels good.
And again and again for as long as it feels good to you.
You are so worthy of feeling good in your body in this moment.
It's safe for you to feel good.
And this feeling of pleasure is yours to open to,
Enjoy,
Bask in and create.
When you're ready,
Opening up your eyes.
Welcoming this moment with your full awareness and presence.
Fully awake and open in your sensory body with all your pleasure receptors turned on.
Receiving your breath in this moment fully.
Letting it hold,
Love and receive you too.
May you know the beauty and perfection of your own being.
May you celebrate your goodness now and revel in the pleasure this moment so longs to deliver you.
From my ooey gooey pleasure filled heart to yours,
Namaste.
