Hi,
My name is Andrea Ashley and I'm going to be guiding you through an introductory sacral chakra meditation.
We'll start by getting yourself into a comfortable seated or laying down position.
Taking a few moments to settle in to ensure you are comfy cozy in a place without any distractions.
Once you have settled,
Take a moment to allow the physical body to begin to relax.
Let the shoulders relax away from the ears.
Maybe the tongue releases from the roof of the mouth.
Just do a little bit of a mental body scan,
Releasing any muscles that may be holding on.
If it helps you can squeeze the entire body really really tight,
As tight as you can.
And then let it all go,
Relaxing into the mat or into your chair or bed.
Beginning to bring your awareness inward now.
So attempting to let go of your day,
To let go of anything that happened before you settled into this space.
To temporarily set aside anything that may happen after you leave this meditation.
Letting go of the past and letting go of thinking about the future just for this time so you can settle into this present moment.
Begin to bring your awareness to your breath,
Not making any changes to it as of yet.
Just simply observing the inhales and exhales.
Using the awareness of the breath to anchor you in the present moment.
Exhaling and exhaling.
Watching the subtle movement of the body with every breath.
Letting your awareness of everything else fade away just for now.
Continue to focus on your breath,
Inhaling and exhaling naturally.
The most common Sanskrit name for the sacral chakra is Svarisana,
Which means your own place.
It is located about three inches below the navel and is the second of the seven primary chakras and is associated with the color orange.
The sacral chakra is the chakra of creativity and sexuality and is associated with emotions,
Feelings,
Relationships,
Sensuality.
It's basically the center of feelings and sensations.
When this chakra is in balance,
Relationships feel pleasant.
They're in an harmonious exchange.
Whereas if this chakra is imbalanced,
It can appear as codependency in relationships.
You can feel ruled by your emotions.
Or on the other side of the spectrum,
You could feel completely disconnected or numb.
You can show sexual obsessions or overindulgence.
Take a moment to now bring your awareness back to your breath again.
We will now begin to integrate an intentional breathing pattern called Ida Nadi.
This is left nostril breathing.
Nadi's are the circulatory channels in the body and the left side is the passive or lunar side.
So this breathing style focuses on opening the lunar energy.
So take a moment here to close the right nostril with the right index finger and begin to take deep belly breaths down into the diaphragm,
Breathing slowly and deeply in and out through the left nostril.
Inhale.
Let the belly rise,
The ribs expand,
The chest lift.
And exhale.
Let the chest fall,
The ribs contract,
And lastly the belly falls.
Bringing this pattern,
Breathing in and out through the left nostril,
Slowly and deeply.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Exhale.
Continuing this pattern,
Breathing slowly and deeply in through the nose and out through the nose at your own pace.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Releasing the right hand away from the nostril now.
Begin to bring your attention to your sacral chakra.
Envisioning an orange light a few inches below your belly button.
Observe how it looks.
Notice the shade of orange,
The size,
The shape.
Notice any and all visual aspects of your sacral chakra.
Bring your attention now to how it feels.
Is there any tingling or physical sensations in this area?
Take a moment to notice any and all sensations.
Now notice how is it functioning?
Is it moving?
If so,
Is it slow or fast?
Is it clockwise or counterclockwise?
Is it a large open light or small dim light?
Observe what is coming up for you in this chakra.
Bringing your attention back to your breath now.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Slowly and deeply.
Breathing in.
And breathing out.
With every inhale,
Try to visualize breathing in orange light into the area of your sacral chakra.
Watching as the orange glow starts to gently expand.
With every in-breath,
You pull in more fresh orange light,
Allowing it to fill your sacral chakra and spread outwards.
Breathing in happiness,
Pleasure,
And creativity.
Breathing in beautiful,
Joyful orange light.
Breathing out tension.
Breathing in fulfillment.
Breathing out deprivation.
Breathing in creativity.
Breathing out judgment or blocks.
Breathing in acceptance.
Breathing out intolerance.
Breathing in beautiful orange light.
Breathing out feelings of fear or lack.
Continue to breathe slowly and deeply and silently repeat after me.
I trust my feelings and give them ample room for expression.
I honor my body and treat myself respectfully.
My sexuality is sacred.
I am feeling complete peace from within.
I attract people who treat me with respect.
I trust my feelings and give them ample room for expression.
I honor my body and treat myself respectfully.
My sexuality is sacred.
I am feeling complete peace from within.
I attract people who treat me with respect.
I trust my feelings and give them ample room for expression.
I honor my body and treat myself respectfully.
My sexuality is sacred.
I am feeling complete peace from within.

I attract people who treat me with respect.
I am happiness,
Joyfulness,
And creativity.
I am happy,
Joyful,
And creative.
I am happy,
Joyful,
And creative.
I am happy,
Joyful,
And creative.
I am happy,
Joyful,
And creative.
I am happy,
Joyful,
And creative.
Taking a deep belly breath in,
Letting the belly expand,
The ribs expand,
The chest lift.
And deep exhale,
Letting it all go.
Placing one hand on your heart and one hand on your sacral chakra.
And just take a moment here to thank yourself for your practice.
Thank yourself for taking the time,
For making the time,
And for everything you've observed.
Thank you for spending your time with me.
Wishing you a beautiful day.
