Hello,

My name is Jacqueline and I am a very proud grandma.

I write guided meditations for my grandchildren and I'm happy to share them with you too.

Many of us take our body for granted.

We don't always think about the hard job it has to keep us alive and enable us to have fun.

In this meditation,

We will take time to appreciate our body and shower it with the love it deserves.

It's time to celebrate and give thanks to your body.

So make yourself comfortable either sitting or lying down.

Wiggle a little just to make sure you're really comfy as you allow your body to completely relax.

Now take a deep breath in and as you breathe out gently close your eyes.

Take another deep breath in then relax your shoulders as you breathe out.

And now,

As you breathe in your own rhythm,

We are ready to begin.

In your mind's eye,

You are going to travel around your body,

Focusing your attention on each part as you repeat after me,

Either in your head or out loud,

Words of praise and thanks.

Let's begin at the top as you focus on your mind.

Send it love and thanks.

Thank you mind for allowing me to create my dreams and goals.

And thank you mind for keeping all my thoughts and beautiful memories safe.

I love you and I appreciate you.

Now take your focus to your eyes.

Send love and thanks to them.

Send love and thanks to them.

Thank you eyes for showing me the beauty nature has given us.

And thank you eyes for allowing me to see all the people I love and care for.

I never want to take you for granted.

I love and appreciate you.

Now take your focus to your ears and send love and thanks to them.

Thank you ears for allowing me to hear all the many,

Many different sounds and voices around me.

And thank you ears for allowing me to connect to the rhythm of music through sound and vibration.

I love you and I appreciate you.

Let's move focus to your arms and hands as you send love and thanks their way.

Thank you arms for allowing me to hug those I love and care about.

And thank you hands for allowing me to hold and carry the things I need to enjoy my day in every way.

I love you and I appreciate you.

Now move your focus to your heart and send love and thanks.

Thank you heart for keeping my body alive as you work tirelessly moment after moment pumping blood around my body.

And thank you heart for giving me the ability to feel and to give love.

I love you and I appreciate the unconditional love you have for me.

Now move your focus to your belly sending it love and thanks.

Thank you belly for digesting my food even the food which may not be as healthy as it should be for me.

And thank you belly for helping me with my intuition and guiding me to know right from wrong.

And guiding me to know right from wrong.

I appreciate you and I love you.

Take your focus to your legs and feet and send love and thanks towards them.

Thank you legs for carrying me throughout each daily adventure I experience.

And thank you feet for being my body's foundation and reminding me to take things one step at a time.

I love you and I appreciate the hard work you do.

Now let's focus on your skin send out love and thanks.

Thank you skin for surrounding me with unconditional love and protection.

And thank you skin for always holding me together and also every other part of my body.

Know that I love you and appreciate you for everything you do for me.

For always holding me together and also every other part of my body.

Know that I love you and appreciate you each and every day.

And finally it is time to say thank you to your whole body.

Thank you my body for working so hard every day which allows me to play and enjoy my life.

And thank you my body for allowing me to be me and live my best life.

I never want to take you for granted.

I love you and I appreciate you.

With a happy heart say thank you to your whole body for working so hard to keep you alive.

And now it's time to end this meditation.

Take a breath in as you wiggle your toes and fingers.

And as you breathe out gently open your eyes.

Notice how you are feeling.

You should feel full of gratitude for the unique person you are.

Whenever you feel you doubt yourself,

Return to this meditation to remember how special you and your body are.

Thank you for meditating with me.

Before you go I would like to ask you a question.

What do you find most amazing about your body?

Thank you for taking this journey with me.

In the comments let me know how this meditation has helped you today.

Bye for now.

Amazing. This helped me alot. It's Amazing what my body can do. A cyclone is coming to wear i live tomorrow and it's myfirst cyclone! Story Time! The Little Snowflake. Part 6. Ocean started to get sleepy as she fell asleep on the spot. She felt something tickle her. She opened her eyes to see a spider starring at her. She shreiekd as she pushed it away. The spider said " Hey! I didn't mean to scare you. I just want to play. I'm a jumping spider. When most people see me they try to kill me or just run from me. Why didn't you run?" Ocean frowned and grumpily said " Because I am only a wittle shnowflake. You woke me up from a realy nice dream." The spider said " But I want to play! What wher you dreaming about?" Ocean said, more politely now " I dreamt I could walk and I was following this huge snowflake into a Castel and just as I was about to step inside you woke me up. My names Ocean, what about you? " The spider replied " My names Sally. That sounded like a realy nice dream. I'm sorry I woke you up, Ocean. Can we be friends?" Ocean thought for a second then said " Sure! It's okay that you woke me up. I'm sorry how I treated you. I just only cared about my thoughts. I'm sorry." Sally said " It's OK! May I lift you onto my back?" Ocean cried " No! I want to have more adventures! If I go on you and someone squishes you, I will get squished aswell!" Sally said " OK. OK. I won't lift you. I have to keep on moving. Bye!" Sally was soon gone in the snow somewhere. Ocean whent back to sleep ta have that dream again.
