Hello everybody,
It's Nitz and Leon here.
So some friends have been asking me why I keep doing fasting,
Why I keep coming back to fasting 3 days,
5 days,
And I do it so often.
Obviously they don't fast themselves,
They don't really understand.
And today I'm not going to talk about the health benefits,
Which are so many,
You can get that from another place.
But I will tell the story of why I keep coming back to fasting.
And the reason is I've been doing fasting for about 7 years now.
And I'm working online,
So my life is quite relaxed.
It's not that I've got a stressed life,
Which helps a lot with fasting.
And I'm just loving the feeling after 2 or 3 days,
It just gets really clear.
Meditating becomes much easier.
Sleeping is completely different.
And just a huge amount of awareness just arrived in my life.
On day 3,
Day 4,
Sometimes on day 2,
It really is quite amazing how much awareness and how much clear energy is just around.
Going outside,
Feeling different,
Looking at nature,
Swimming,
Spending time with people,
With family,
With friends.
No need to talk so much,
Easy to meditate,
Different sleeping pattern.
Trying to work,
Suddenly really,
Really crystal clear for work,
Easy to write.
It's just the energy is different after a couple of days.
Somehow you give the body a rest.
Day 1 on fasting is a little bit difficult.
And some people,
For me it's different.
Day 2 can be difficult,
But most times it's easier.
And from day 3 and day 4 you're just not hungry at all,
You don't want to eat,
Not interested at all in food.
That's something that everybody is saying.
And then day 5,
Day 6,
You start to get hungry again.
Sometimes day 4,
Day 5,
It depends on the person.
But on day 3 and 4,
It's just no need to eat at all.
Okay,
The mind plays a game saying I want to eat,
But the body doesn't need to eat.
Just drink water and you're okay.
So that's about it.
It's just,
I would say I'm addicted to that feeling.
It is such a beautiful feeling that you get.
So I've been doing meditating and all kinds of different meditation in the past,
And it's great.
But fasting,
Wow,
It really takes you,
Takes me anyway to another level.
It really is fantastic.
Really,
Really recommend for everybody to try it.
It's just an amazing experience on day 3 and day 4.
And the best way to fast is if you have a little bit of a relaxed space.
It's a little bit difficult when you're very busy with a lot of stuff because it's just time to come in,
Come home.
Also,
I believe that when you're fasting for three or four days,
If you've got an illness or something that is coming,
Waiting to come in,
You're just pushing it away.
And I also believe people will argue that they disagree,
But that's my belief,
That if you've got,
Let's say,
A cancer coming,
Waiting by fasting for seven days,
I don't know,
Once a month,
Every three months,
You're just pushing it away and you're just clearing your system completely because it's all sugar and crap that we're consuming and carbon.
That's it.
So that's today's talk.
Fasting is just such a beautiful and amazing thing to do,
And it is free.
One of the reasons nobody is really promoting it is because it's free.
Nobody is making any money.
Actually,
The food companies are losing.
You're not buying their food.
So it really is a fantastic experience.
People doing dry fast,
But I've never done a dry fast.
I only do a fast when I drink loads and loads of water.
That's what I do.
And anyway,
In my normal life,
I wake up and the first thing I do in the morning is I drink water,
One or two glasses of water,
Room temperature.
And then maybe I'll have a coffee later on or something after I do meditation,
Or a little exercise.
It depends on the day how I feel.
But water in the morning.
Fasting,
One of the most amazing things you can do for yourself.
Please try it.
You would love it.
It's just an amazing thing to do.
And you get so clear on day three,
Day four.
It's just amazing.
