Full Moon Blessing

The full moon is a time of completion, of release and fullness. In order to call new energies into our lives we must first honor, celebrate and release what is done to make space for what is meant to come. This full moon blessing will help center you as you work with the energy of the full moon.

Transcript

Taking a moment to find a comfortable seat,

However that looks for you today.

And taking a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

Gentle exhale out.

Allowing the body to soften,

The eyes to soften,

And maybe allowing the eyes to completely close.

And taking a moment to listen to this full moon prayer with ears of the heart.

Under this glorious full moon,

We celebrate all the work we have done on the spiritual journey.

We celebrate the healing we have done for ourselves,

For our families,

And for our loved ones.

Celebrating the healing that ripples to our ancestors that have come before us,

And to those that will come after us.

Under this full moon,

We forgive ourselves fully with ease and have immense gratitude for the lessons that have led us to this forgiveness.

We forgive those who have hurt us,

And pray they find their way to their own healing path.

With this full moon,

We call all of our energy back to us,

Fully cleansed and recharged,

While releasing out of us what no longer serves us.

May the illumination of this full moon bring with it the clarity and wisdom we seek,

While bringing a full healing for all sentient beings.

And so it is.

Long slow deep breath in.

Big exhale out.

Dance

I watched the moon and sun begin a dance

The sun lead with a display of colors, showing his power as he fractured the beams, pierced the morning sky with his ego.

The moon softly gazed at this energy, not attempting to create a duplicate image, just mirroring softly the light, wrapped in her dark night sky dress, letting his needs go.

I watched as the sun admired the moons resistance to step into his demands. Both reached for each other but did not touch.

The energy between the two was soft, gentle. I paused there in the stillness, in awe of the dance!
