Arrive in the present moment in your body.
Peel the seat beneath you.
Feel the temperature of the air on your skin.
Take deep breath in.
Slowly exhale.
Close your eyes or soften your gaze.
And just notice what may feel heavy today.
Does something feel burdensome or scattered?
It may be a mental state or worry.
A part of your body.
Or just a general feeling of lack of motivation or inspiration.
Don't yet try to change this.
Just notice.
And as you're noticing.
See if you can give some description to this feeling or this space.
Is there a color?
Or a temperature.
To that part of you that seems a bit out of alignment.
To that part of you that is maybe swirling,
Maybe stagnant.
Is it dull or vibrant?
Does it feel heavy or light?
Hot or cold.
Just let it be there.
Breathe into that place.
Observe.
What is happening within your inner landscape?
And as you're noticing,
See if you can start to make some space around that big feeling.
That place.
Imagine it in a field.
Surrounded by tall grasses blowing in the breeze.
Or maybe it's in a mountain lake.
Still and floating.
Just let it be there.
Let it soften.
Let a little air out of its bigness.
See it as lying in a gentle embrace.
And embrace of your knowing.
An embrace of your loving.
And as it becomes a more gentle space,
See if it has a message for you.
Maybe it's revealing a need that has been neglected.
Maybe it would like to express some emotion.
Or maybe it just needs a space to be acknowledged.
Maybe it's just saying,
Hey,
I'm here,
And that's OK.
And you're okay.
We're okay in this moment.
We are safe.
Just know that this deep feeling or place is not a verdict.
Of your life,
It's just a passing storm.
So be curious what might be here for you.
And can you welcome that into your life?
Into your inner space.
Welcome it as a part of you.
Not the whole of you.
And not forever.
And as you make this welcoming space.
Take your hand and invite this part of you together.
And place both your hands on your heart.
Feel the warmth,
Safety,
The gentleness of this space.
Speak with your heart to this part of you that needs your love and attention.
Let it know it is welcome and safe here.
And then it can return when it is needed.
Allow your wise adult and gentle self to guide this heaviness.
Into light.
The scatteredness.
Into alignment.
To let the burden dissipate.
And for all of it to flow into harmony.
That your inner landscape may feel peace.
Take a deep breath in.
Let it go.
Take another deep breath in.
And release.
One more deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Let your eyes open.
Come back to the room or the space,
The physical space that you're in.
Look around,
See the sights,
Hear the sounds.
Notice the temperature on your skin.
And know that you can come back to this at any time.
Integration.
Take space.
So allow that space and time to heal.
