This is your moment,

Close your eyes now,
Allow your body to settle and let your breath become slow and steady,

Begin by noticing your breath without trying to change it,
Simply observing the gentle rise and fall of your chest,
Take a slow breath in through your nose,
Hold just for a moment and exhale gently through your mouth,
With each exhale imagine releasing a small piece of the mental clutter,
A distraction,
Breath in calm,
Breath out release,
This rhythm is your anchor,
Allow this calm breath to spread through your body,
Feel your feet heavy and grounded,
Your legs warm and relaxed,
Your hips and belly softening,
Releasing tension,
Your chest opening with each breath as if creating space within your shoulders,
Drop lower,
Your arms and hands loose and free,
Relaxing the muscles of your neck,

Every part of you is letting go,

Inside this room are shelves filled with boxes,
Each box holds a touch,
A memory,
Some importance,

One by one you begin to open these boxes,
You look inside and you decide gently what can stay and what can go,
Some thoughts you set aside,
Some you release completely,
Watching them dissolve like smoke in the air,
With every release this room becomes lighter,
Clearer,
More spacious,
Until there is only what truly matters,
And the rest has drifted away,
In this open space of your mind,
Repeat softly within yourself,
My mind is clear,
My heart is calm,
I choose peace,
I am free from what no longer serves me,
Feel the power of these words,
Feel them taking roots within you,
Restoring your nervous system,
Restoring your inner balance,

Simply breathing,

The clutter is gone,
