Close your eyes and begin to pay attention to the rise and fall of your breath.

Breathing in through your nose and breathing out through your mouth.

Just creating a rhythm,

Nothing forced.

And notice that your mind will interrupt you with thoughts.

And just acknowledge that interruption and come back to your breath.

There's no sense in fighting the mind.

And now begin to notice the room,

Any sounds,

The temperature of the air.

And then turn your attention to yourself and your body and notice anywhere that might feel tense.

And just begin to breathe a little bit of softness into that area or those areas.

Not trying to completely fix them,

But becoming aware and breathing perhaps even 1% more softness into those areas.

Relax your jaw and let your shoulders drop.

And keep breathing and begin to notice any emotional tension stored in your body,

The stress,

The worry,

And try to locate it.

And then imagine it melting away,

Cascading down your body through the soles of your feet into the ground beneath you.

And just continue to breathe.

And now I'd like you to take your left hand and put it on your heart and take your right hand and place it on your stomach just above your navel.

And begin to feel the connection.

And then ask yourself,

Does my heart matter?

And yes,

That might sound like a silly question.

Your heart is your lifeline,

But are you tapping into the infinite source of love,

Forgiveness,

And compassion that resides in the heart?

Are you tapping into it enough?

Your heart is the center of your true essence and it's always communicating to you.

Can you get quiet enough to listen,

To accept?

It's there to remind you that no matter what you've been through,

The circumstances you've faced,

The problems you've had,

The mistakes that you made,

The forgiveness is always offered and always possible.

And you're always worthy of it.

If you truly seek it,

Can you feel the beating of your heart?

And can you commit to listening to it more often?

It can be as simple as stopping the motion of your day and putting your hand on your heart and saying,

I'm open to remembering.

I'm open to listening.

Your heart is so powerful.

And now I'd like you to bring your awareness to your hand that's above your stomach and just give gratitude in this moment for the wisdom and guidance that lives there.

It's always trying to keep you on your path.

It's trying to keep you on your most aligned path.

And so continue to breathe and honor that intuitive wisdom and know that it's a practice of asking,

Asking for that guidance and listening and that the entire process is like developing a muscle and it will get stronger and louder in time.

And so continue with your breath and place your hands,

Palms up,

Rest them on your legs and we'll go through one seven count breath.

Exhaling through your nose for a count of four.

Holding at the top for three and then exhaling through the mouth for seven.

Let it all go.

Come back to that neutral breath and be open to the compassion,

Forgiveness and love that's in your heart and to the deep profound wisdom and guidance that resides in your stomach that is always there for you no matter what.

You deserve the deepest intentions of your heart to be a part of your life.

Honor them and know that there's always space to create calm.
