Welcome to today's mantra meditation.
Please find yourself in a comfortable position,
Whether that's seated or lying down,
It's completely up to you.
Once you find yourself in your comfortable position,
Just begin by tuning in to the natural pace of your breath.
Notice your inhale and notice your exhale.
And just determining for today what pace of breath you'd like to work with.
Now for today's mantra meditation,
We will work through a series of three rounds.
First focusing on the greater community,
Then focusing on one individual,
And then finally connecting with yourself.
To begin,
Begin to visualize the LGBT community that you connect with.
These can be individuals that you know personally,
Those that you've seen on social media,
Or perhaps even those that you've watched on TV,
Or in films.
And just visualize yourself being surrounded with this LGBT community,
Looking around and just seeing all the different shapes and sizes of those that you've invited in to be part of your community.
And we'll just repeat a mantra together for the next minute.
You can decide if you want to repeat it out loud or just silently to yourself,
But just envision what it would be like if you were surrounded by a group of individuals all repeating the same mantra together.
If you lose the mantra,
Just reconnect into the moment and begin to repeat it again.
The mantra is,
We Are Enough.
So just beginning for this next minute to just continuing to repeat at your own pace,
Whether slowly or quickly,
The mantra of We Are Enough.
Starting now.
We Are Enough.
On repeat for the next minute.
30 seconds to go.
If you've lost the mantra,
Coming back to it,
Changing up the pace if you like to be slower or faster,
Continuing to repeat for the next 30 seconds,
We Are Enough.
And three more times as you conclude this first round.
We Are Enough.
We Are Enough.
Just holding still in this present moment and visualizing what it would be like for a community of your peers all repeating this mantra,
We Are Enough.
Now for round two,
Visualizing just one person within this community that you wish to connect with.
See yourself connecting with this one individual within your mind's eye,
Determining why it is that you've chosen this one individual that you wish to connect with in this moment.
And now for this next minute,
At your own pace again,
Slower than the first round,
Quicker than the first round,
Or at the same pace,
Visualizing this person before you and letting them know that you are enough.
Repeating again at your own pace for one minute over and over again,
Performing this person standing before you,
You Are Enough.
And go.
If you've lost the mantra,
Coming back to it for another 30 seconds,
You Are Enough,
Keep going.
And three more times to wrap up this second round,
You Are Enough.
You Are Enough.
You Are Enough.
Holding still in this present moment as you connect with this one individual and allow yourself to let go of this person standing before you.
And now connect with yourself.
Feel this deep bond that you have with your own person as we repeat the mantra over and over again for this next minute,
I Am Enough.
Deciding the impact that you wish to make,
Whether saying it slowly or saying it quickly or the same as the first two rounds,
But connecting deeply with yourself as you repeat the mantra,
I Am Enough for this next one minute,
Beginning now.
Reconnecting to the mantra if you've lost it for another 30 seconds,
I Am Enough,
Keep going.
Repeating it three more times,
I Am Enough.
I Am Enough.
I Am Enough.
And just holding still in this present moment for a few more breaths,
Allowing yourself to reconnect to that greater community as we repeat,
We Are Enough.
We Are Enough.
We Are Enough.
Connect into that one individual that you've allowed to stand before you and repeat,
You Are Enough.
You Are Enough.
You Are Enough.
And lastly,
Connecting in with yourself as we repeat,
I Am Enough.
I Am Enough.
I Am Enough.
And offering yourself gratitude for taking this time to connect with your community,
To connect with one other person,
And finally connect with yourself.
And thank you for participating in today's mantra meditation.
