This is a recording from an informal satsang held at an ashram where Premasudha is staying. Already as girls, women often learn early to hide parts of themselves when they feel they don’t fit in. With love and self-compassion, we can begin to heal our inner child and gently bring those shadows into the light. When we truly receive love, sorrow may surface as we recognize what we missed. Yet working with these emotions awakens our inner feminine wisdom. We remember - we just know. We move from the head to the heart — from where we can embody our true feminine self. Speaker: Bhavani

You don't want to face this.

The part of you want to stay like an innocent,

Slightly clueless student.

And you're a highly intelligent,

Powerful woman,

And the part of you that is keeping you believing that you're this,

Or acting in this,

Thinking this is safe to be kind of clueless,

And it's your shadow.

As a little kid,

You lived on this much,

And you put this much in the closet,

And it's kept you shallow and powerless.

I know.

It's that.

Okay.

Right.

Right.

Okay.

Right.

This is very similar to what Kamoshida faced about herself in my transition.

So it's this really innocent focus on compassion,

Self-compassion,

Surrender to Allah,

To admit these things.

Right.

Your little child's finding that she doesn't die if she's allowed to be,

So she can start taking deep breaths,

So you guys could take,

So you'll find as you move into your child,

You take deeper breaths.

These tears are the tears that come when you receive love,

You guys.

Yeah.

You receive love,

And you feel the sorrow of having been this way,

Right?

Yeah.

Right.

And the waste.

Right?

But it had to be this way,

And it's not,

You're getting it now,

And it's not,

It's not a waste.

Yeah.

I'm wanting this knowledge,

Like you'll try to figure it out with your head,

But I'm wanting this knowledge to come into your body in a way so that you just know it organically.

You guys,

What happens is,

When you do this emotional work,

When you feel these emotions,

You come to knowledge inside yourself,

It's not a head knowledge,

It's you just know.

Yeah.

This emotional IQ work is effeminate,

And this is why the non-duals,

Like people to spend years going around talking from that intellectual island,

In therapy and also non-dual training,

You will hear it,

Because you can hear it when somebody's talking,

You can hear where they're talking from.

Once you're in your heart,

You can tell whether they're talking from their head or from their heart,

And the non-dual talk,

It's like,

If it's from the heart,

It's absolutely true,

But if it's from the head,

It's just baloney,

And some teachers are actually even in the head teaching non-dual,

So that's how crazy it gets.

🩷 ‘you just know’ 🙏 the ease I have been feeling is that I simply know now. Beautiful words. My mantra for the day! Ox
