Premasudha reminds us our spiritual journey is NOT on our shoulders - something beyond us does it. However, we can help ourselves by opening to Grace and remembering the Creator often during our day. Amma says, "Children, never lose your self-confidence. It is like a booster rocket. It helps us break free from the bondage and impurities of the mind and allows us to soar to the heights of spirituality. It is the fuel giving us the power to forge ahead." In this Satsang, Premasudha helps a student see the choice to accept themselves and surrender to their true life path, or to continue to suffer the pain of buying into the mind's dreary narratives. We all have this same choice.

I've got a question for you.

So you and I are standing on the street corner,

Neither of us are wearing coats,

Okay,

And a car goes by and splashes both of us with a dirty mud puddle.

So I'd like to know what your response would be to that,

And I also want to know what you think Premasuda's response would be.

I can imagine that Premasuda will just laugh about it and take it not too serious.

Right.

What would you do?

I would yell,

Oh shit.

Yeah.

Yeah.

And you'd say,

This always happens to me.

Now Sweetie Pie,

You worry me a little bit because your soul has decided that you're going to learn your lessons,

Okay,

And it's taking you through great pain,

But you are refusing to change your head's point of view.

So this is the worst possible experience of existence.

The soul's insisting on teaching you and you're refusing to learn.

And the problem is really,

You reject yourself and so you reject everything.

If you knew that Premasuda would laugh,

You have that response in your own repertoire.

Do you see?

It's there.

Yeah,

You knew Premasuda would laugh.

It's like you could then laugh too.

It's in your set of choices.
