You know,
When you lose your sense of humor,
You know you're in your ego.
Everything seems so serious and dreary and there's no hope.
You might feel really this despair.
The joke is that despair is just so close to the soul.
If you take one step more,
You're in your soul energy.
So if you imagine,
Supposing you're caught in,
Like you really lose your sense of humor and you're feeling really,
Really down,
You can imagine opening the door and stepping into light.
That will steer your whole psyche.
I used to do this kind of thing and that's how I know it works.
You know,
You step into light and then forget about it.
Just go about your day and it'll tell you over the next while you will start to feel better and hopefully you'll get your sense of humor back.
I had a friend who used to say to me,
You know,
Life is mysterious.
Don't take it too serious.
And at that point,
You know,
I think it was a period of my life where,
You know,
For about 10 years I didn't laugh.
And that's part of why I laugh so much now because it's all such a joke really.
That when we're really caught in our ego,
It doesn't seem like a joke.
Really when I look back,
It seems to me that this process is a lot like birth.
You know,
A woman will experience a contraction and it's very painful and we go through these emotional contractions and stuff comes up.
It's very painful.
And then,
You know,
For a woman giving birth,
Then there's the period of relaxation after the contraction and the cervix opens a little bit more.
So you know,
We might go through a really difficult period,
But then,
You know,
We relax out.
We might find our sense of humor and then we might have another difficult period.
Just like this woman giving birth,
What finally happens is this process gradually opens you up to your soul energy,
To your new perspective,
Which gets born within your personality.
It's a hard thing to explain.
It's just,
But when you do it,
You'll know.
You'll just realize that you've changed a great deal and that you've got a much broader mind and you've got more of a sense of humor and more trust.
Yeah.
Oh,
Bless your hearts.
I hope this helped.
Thanks for watching.
