Children can be little terrorists at times and negotiating with them is so fascinating when you take the time to listen to their requests. I’m always surprised when I try something new to see what works to get them to behave and get along. But in all the chaos I look in their eyes and see their smiles or frowns and I think about how much they rely on me to keep it together. Ever since your talk about loving them anyway, just love them! I’ve been searching deeper for ways to let them be them but still placing boundaries and where they need to go and changing my tone of voice.
