Close your eyes and allow attention to turn inward.

Notice the breath entering and exiting the nostrils.

Feel the subtle movements of abdomen and chest connected to the breath.

And as you breathe in through the nose,

Fill your lungs fully without strain.

Exhale through softly pursed lips as if you were blowing out through a tiny straw.

Let the exhalation be a long,

Steady,

Unbroken stream.

Empty the lungs completely.

Breathe in completely and breathe out completely without strain.

Breathing in through the nose,

Fill your lungs fully without strain.

Breathing in through the nose,

Exhaling through a tiny straw.

Each time you exhale,

Empty your body of all tensions and empty all anticipations.

Each time you inhale,

Drop into a deeper level of silent awareness.

Breath is calm,

Body relaxed,

Mind silent,

Heart unconditionally open.

Now return to your normal breathing and turn attention inward.

Experience a deep stillness extending everywhere.

Give yourself permission to enter the deepest levels of relaxation right now.

Know that you can easily enter this state of integration again and again.

As you feel ready,

Gradually open your eyes.
