Welcome to grounding meditation.
Lie down in a comfortable space or sit relaxed.
Use cushions or pillows to make you as relaxed as you can.
Gently close your eyes.
Slowly bring all your awareness back behind your closed eyes and notice your breath.
Do not change it anyway.
Just notice.
Try and feel your breath as it enters your nostrils going into your lungs.
And as you exhale,
Feel the chest falls and the air comes out.
Keep breathing and keep noticing your breath.
If any thoughts or worries come up,
Just let them come and let them go.
Just for now.
This time is for yourself to ground and connect from within.
Now slowly bring your awareness to the crown of your head.
Become aware of any sensations there.
Relax your crown and allow this relaxing energy to enter inside of your head.
Feeling your entire head inside and out.
Relaxing your brain,
Forehead,
Eyebrows,
Eyes,
Eyelids,
Cheeks,
Nostrils,
Lips,
Tongue,
Mouth and jaw.
Allow this relaxing energy to enter into your neck.
Relaxing both inside and outside of your neck.
Relaxation radiating down to the shoulders and arms.
Relaxing both arms,
Hands and fingertips.
Awareness of relaxation entering your chest region.
Relaxing your chest inside and out.
The feeling of relaxation entering the abdomen.
Relaxing whole of the abdominal region,
Inside and out.
As this relaxing energy finds its way down,
Hip is getting relaxed,
Both thighs,
Knees,
Shins,
Ankles and feet getting totally relaxed.
Relaxing the back of your legs,
Buttocks,
Lower back,
Middle back and upper back.
Relaxing your whole spine.
Each and every vertebrae is now relaxed.
Allowing this relaxing energy travelling back up to the crown and shivering out from your crown to all sides of your body.
Enveloping you in a bubble of relaxing energy.
As you are now completely relaxed,
Bring your awareness to your root chakra,
Muladhara at the tip of your tailbone.
The foundation of your life,
Energy centre for grounding,
Abundance,
Security.
Now visualise a cold just like a tree root,
Emerging from your tip of the tailbone from your root chakra,
Connecting you to the core of the Mother Earth.
Feel your body is heavy and this strong root from your tailbone is anchoring your whole body into the centre of Mother Earth.
Now visualise a red beam of light from the centre of the earth,
Shooting up through this cord,
Carrying the earth elements to your root chakra.
Visualise and feel your root chakra as a beaming red inverted triangle,
Getting brighter as it receives this earth energy.
Breathe and relax.
Feel the earth energy in your root chakra.
Visualise the bright red inverted triangle at the tip of your tailbone,
Keeping you grounded,
Supported and abandoned.
Feel that your root chakra,
Muladhara is now totally balanced.
Breathe and relax as you have now balanced your root chakra and totally grounded in your body,
Mind and soul.
Slowly let go of this visualisation and become aware of your physical body.
Stretch your whole body and gently open your eyes.
Let go of this visualisation and open your eyes.
