Collective consciousness is shifting at a rapid rate and that's being mirrored in every aspect of our society,
Our environment,
Our economy.
Our collective values and behaviours are changing which is in turn impacting our choices and our behaviours.
And this shift is going to have an enormous impact on everything from politics to shopping habits.
So the role of different parts of our social structures are either changing in response to this shifting consciousness or they are resisting it with every ounce of their energy.
In the world of business we have corporations and structures that are desperately trying to hold on to the old systems for as long as possible and this is contrasted with businesses that are eagerly casting off that yoke and embracing a new energy and a new thinking.
For me the question is how much do we need to shift our energy and our thinking to keep in step with the altering collective consciousness.
And this is a big challenge for us as entrepreneurs.
Now over the last few years I've seen a lot of old thinking and approaches being dressed up as in new attire that really hasn't moved the needle at all.
In that time what I've worked on with clients has almost exclusively been about deconstructing the hold of this old thinking,
This old energy,
Which is deftly woven into every thought and action an entrepreneur can take.
So much of what we choose to do is actually predetermined and anchored in old business thinking and so much of what we don't do is wrapped up in the stories we have accepted as being true without ever challenging them.
Unless this is systematically deconstructed business it's just not going to be able to adapt in line with collective consciousness.
So we can begin this process of challenging that thinking by looking at how we perceive business itself.
Now we tend to see business as something we control,
Determine,
Decide.
Business is within our dominion and under our control.
Now in practice I find this to be far from accurate or helpful.
Everything is energy.
So whenever you look at the detail under a microscope or you zoom out as far as you possibly can we see the same patterns over and over.
They're reflected in every structure in our universe.
Energy follows a conscious pattern of movement.
Now business is energy and if energy is a form of consciousness then business is a form of consciousness.
It is not a thing but a being.
Now the idea that it is a being is deeply challenging to our current structures.
There's no way to accommodate this concept in theory or practice unless there's a significant shift in how we think.
If business is consciousness then it becomes imperative to understand and collaborate with it.
Through this lens business becomes a partnership of intention and action that actually creates ripples far beyond our conventional measures of business.
But critically this perspective also demands a new view of how business functions both practically and energetically.
Now the notion that all businesses operate in the same way or need the same things cannot operate within this dynamic of business being a form of consciousness.
All life is inherently individual and needs a unique balance of things to thrive.
Therefore,
For any business to thrive you've got to drop the push and the hustle and learn to move in a different way.
Now my approach is to engage the intuitive wisdom that we all have by listening to the energy itself.
Now anyone can listen to their business and discover how this particular form of consciousness wants,
Needs or chooses to function and it's a really enlightening experience that exposes how much of the business construct is an energetic imposition that blocks businesses from thriving.
It's a quick path to simplifying and streamlining overly complex structures and systems and remarkably efficient at removing the stresses that we all face.
But listening is only part of the shift.
But listening though is only part of the shift.
The role of business in our society has to change too.
So all consciousness directs energy in order to create.
Business is an act of creative expression.
It has a purpose and a desired impact that has been effectively shielded behind the obsessive focus on profit margins.
Every business is consciousness that wants to move in the direction of positive impact and no business can create this without freedom.
As entrepreneurs we need to go deeper to learn the role of each individual business in meeting the needs of changing consciousness and indeed driving the consciousness shift itself.
Business consciousness evolves as we do collectively and individually.
Essentially just as we go deeper into our sense of purpose and contribution over time our business purpose and contribution expand or become clearer.
So as that consciousness evolves we see how what we are called to create is contributing to the many webs of change that are sweeping the world.
Many entrepreneurs right now are in the throes of discovering that their businesses feel hollow.
Having expanded their own consciousness and evolved their understanding of their purpose it's becoming very clear that their businesses cannot continue on the same path and be a valued part of their lives.
The current setup and focus has left their business bereft of purpose or meaning and there's been so much push behind the agenda for entrepreneurs to implement frameworks for guaranteed performance that the natural dialogue between business and entrepreneur has been silenced.
Businesses have been forced into standardized boxes that have removed every iota of individuality which ironically is exactly what is needed to create any form of success.
Whilst entrepreneurs are expanding their sense their own sense of purpose and contribution rapidly the way in which we currently run and develop businesses is pulling in the opposite direction and that tension is creating considerable discomfort for many and confusion for others.
In some case the experience of being in business is creating trauma patterns in entrepreneurs which are going to take time to resolve.
The way we run our businesses is a reflection of how we live.
With so much dysfunction in society it really is no surprise that entrepreneurs are at a breaking point with the day-to-day reality of owning a business.
Business can be a positive aspect of our society and can offer positive experiences for entrepreneurs to expand into.
Changing our perceptions and thinking will change how we act and the paths that we find ourselves on.
Understanding that everything is energy and all energy is consciousness is a pathway to a more productive form of business that nurtures entrepreneur,
Customer,
Society and environment through its creative contributions.
Business can become a solution to our challenges rather than the cause of them.
If we choose to engage in a constructive partnership with the consciousness within.
When each of us gives ourselves permission to stop and find our own direction rather than following the herd then we will create the conditions for change to move in and if we choose to see our businesses as an act of soul expression then we will discover a new level of respect for how we work in and with them.
Simple but profound shifts in our perspective have the potential to change the entire business dynamic and the trajectory of human evolution.
