An introductory talk on business energy and the changes that happen in your business when you focus on the energy. At the end of this talk, there is a short practice to connect to your own essence and the essence of your business to experience the energetic changes arising from a conscious connection to your business energy.

Most entrepreneurs think of their business as theirs and they run it off their own energy.

And that is a fast track to exhaustion.

It makes business a purely mental process that excludes the energy that comes from within,

Which is your most creative and rewarding.

A business is a work of soul.

There is a reason that you are called to do what you do.

It supports your vision to create a better world.

You know how your work helps people,

Places,

Communities,

Situations.

And that is energy.

Energy that emerges from the soul.

A business,

Energetically speaking,

Is a bit like a baby.

It comes from you,

But it becomes its own entity and energy as it grows.

It brings its own energy into the experience of being in your business and transforms the experiences of your clients.

Everything is energy,

A series of electrons and protons.

And energy is either resting in a state of potential or it is in motion.

Intention puts energy into motion.

Your business is driven by intention.

Hence,

Your business is energy in motion.

Energy in motion creates reactions and brings about change.

Conventional approaches to marketing and communication tap into emotions and psychology to create responses.

But energy works in a completely different way.

We feel energy in our bodies.

We are,

In fact,

Amazing at understanding and responding to energy when we don't let our heads get in the way.

Wisdom comes from your body,

Not your mind.

And this is a big,

Big shift to make in how you approach business.

Your business is a frequency that emerges from your intention to create change.

This frequency has a very specific impact upon people.

They either want to move towards it or away from it.

The experience of the energy brings balance or the promise of it to those who want to move towards it.

And they choose to come into resonance with it.

Holding the energy consistently makes their experience understandable because it can take time to respond to the frequency that you're extending.

You can come to understand this energy within your business through listening to your body's experience of it.

You will feel it in certain places with certain sensations.

You might experience colour,

Sound,

Movement or shapes.

This is energy communicating with you.

As it communicates with you,

It makes it possible to translate it into action.

As you hold this energy in everything you do,

You make it possible for potential clients to clearly read the energy and make their choice to respond to it.

There is only choice in this.

No coercion.

No deciding the outcome for them or for you.

It's a clean and clear intuitive response.

Working energetically will impact your business life.

When energy becomes your main focus,

It changes how you show up and operate in your business.

You will lose attachment to direct correlation and consequence that dominates normal approaches.

The I do this and that happens approach is primary in business.

You have expectations of results from particular activities,

But what we can learn from working energetically is that the responses to your actions can come from anywhere.

Now that can feel unsafe in some ways,

But it also opens you up to possibility.

An opportunity that appears from nowhere or a client that finds you through the unlikeliest of routes.

Energy allows magic into your business.

Curiosity becomes the norm as you observe how this energy impacts those around you and those within your circle of intention.

The responses you receive to this energy will open you up to new ways of thinking and acting,

Which in turn will release your business's full potential and expression.

Energetic integrity and coherence will become your central axis.

Energetic integrity is the choices,

Words,

Stories and actions within your business that are true to the energy.

Energetic coherence is the energetic consistency of experience within your clients,

Community and audience.

It provides a form of stability which empowers you to make choices that might otherwise seem beyond reach or outside the norm.

It gives you a creative platform to grow your business.

In fostering a deep connection to this energy,

You can begin to ensure that what you design and create moves the energy into the world to be experienced.

This is the heart of business,

Sharing energy with the world.

To share energy and sustain yourself and business,

You also need to receive.

Receiving is one of the biggest issues facing most entrepreneurs,

Especially intuitive women entrepreneurs.

In working energetically,

We become acutely aware of our capacity to receive and be received.

When you share energy,

It has to be received.

This is something we have a lot of resistance to because we are naturally wired to protect our energy.

It often does not feel safe,

And that shows up in a lot of ways,

Some common examples being keeping a low profile or not ruffling feathers,

Choosing not to be controversial or to stand your ground.

To receive in your business,

You have to be able to be received first.

You will have no problem creating and putting good ideas together,

But when it comes to sharing them,

You probably will hold back in some way.

This becomes the first challenge.

You have to feel safe.

That feeling of safety is cultivated in a deep connection to the energy,

Your sense of purpose and your inner knowing.

It helps immensely to do the work on this aspect of energetics to prepare the ground for what comes next.

Receiving.

Your business is designed to receive,

It is meant to receive and it is nourished by receiving,

Both in terms of energy and income.

To receive,

You need to bring people into your energy field.

If you are protective of your energy or drained by people,

This is a challenge.

Your capacity for this can be a key determiner of your potential for business growth.

Forcing it is not the answer.

The feel,

The fear and do it anyway mantra is going to blow out your nervous system.

This is why it is so important to understand that your business energy is separate to yours.

Your business receives the clients,

The people,

The energy and it can hold this for you.

Business energy moves through your field but it is separate to your energy.

This means that you can move into collaboration with energy and out of it again to allow you to remain highly effective in your working life.

To see your work from an energetic perspective is to understand it differently.

It becomes less about the tangible outcomes and more focused on the potential which is released.

And that changes how you create.

When the experiences you create through products and services are in an energetic integrity,

You create a brand coherence which elevates your business.

What you create becomes a vehicle for the energy to be shared and received rather than a way of creating a set outcome.

This empowers your receivers to have a unique experience which in turn means you learn more about your work from multiple perspectives.

It becomes a fast track of expansion.

Energy-led design is focused on creating an experience or structure which lets the energy flow.

Most blueprints and common wisdom actively block the energy which leads to a disjointed experience.

It shows through in places and stops in others and this means your clients don't benefit from a flow that leads them from their starting place to their goal.

On the other hand,

You may well shift your business model to match the energy.

You might create experiences which are on the face of it not connected to your core business title but they are because they are energetically linked.

Energy is a guide into new territory,

One where you will find your fullest potential.

And the beauty of new territory is the lack of rules to follow.

You can create your own approach and be guided internally to bring it into being.

To switch to inner guidance rather than relying on external will need you to understand how to direct the energy and learn how to stay out of your head.

And that's where support is typically needed.

A lifetime of programming to be mentally led and externally referenced is not always so easy to reframe.

Your business is one of a kind.

You get to set the rules.

You can stop chasing algorithms or following blueprints that worked somewhere else or for somewhere else.

If it worked for them,

It worked for their energy.

There is plenty to learn from others of course,

But unlocking your unique creativity does not come when you are looking for answers outside of you.

Look for inspiration,

But not answers.

The other freedom is in becoming open to change.

When something works in your business,

It's tempting to stick with it as it provides a degree of assurance and consistency.

It's safe.

But consciousness is always shifting and you are always growing,

Which means that what worked becomes less effective over time.

It's easy to get stuck in old ways,

But energy won't let you do that.

It will ask you to evolve.

Of course,

That can be scary.

It doesn't always feel safe,

But it does feel inspiring and exciting.

The most important step in your self-development journey is cultivating self-trust.

Learning to listen to your inner wisdom,

Interpreted via your body,

And rising slowly into understanding will help you to cultivate that self-trust.

It will help you to see how unique you are and how to bring all of that uniqueness into play.

The result is a business which feels like you and gives your clients the breadth,

Depth and unique perspective that they need to keep them moving on their journey.

Now we're going to experience that energy,

So you can feel it in your body and learn what it means to you.

If you want to get comfortable,

Take a deep breath and drop into your body,

Following your breath as the air flows into your body and travels down to every cell.

As your breath enters your body,

It connects your focus to every part of your physical form and all the energy that flows through it.

The more you breathe,

The more you become aware of your energy field building and feel how your energy extends beyond you,

Connecting to the earth below you and the air around you.

With each breath,

Let your field expand a little more.

Feel the energy of your essence flowing freely through you.

You know who you are.

You were born to be you.

Let this energy share itself with you in this moment.

It is part of every atom in your body.

Your whole being vibrates with this energy.

You are free to be you.

Into this space,

Call in your business,

Not as it is on the outside,

But call in its essence.

Feel the energy moving towards you and beginning to interact with the edges of your energy field.

Notice how the energy shifts as your business touches your field.

Breathe into this experience and find your harmony with it.

When you are ready,

Let your energy flow into your body.

When you are ready,

Invite your business energy to move closer,

Again observing your experience.

Inviting the energy in as far as you like.

Spend a little time calibrating to it and understanding the changes that happen for you because this energy is here.

You don't need to understand it right now,

Just experience it.

The emotions and sensations are communicating with your body,

Sharing the wisdom of your own energy and your business energy.

And you are coming into harmony with it.

There is a relationship and it is within the relationship that the power to create and impact people resides.

You are not alone.

Your business is alive and with you.

When you feel ready,

It is time to disconnect,

Thanking the energy and giving it permission to leave.

Notice how your energy changes as it does.

Take some deep breaths to reconnect to your body in this moment.

And when you are ready,
