Day 16,

Awaken creative.

This collection of,

We'll call them meditations,

Have been created with the intention of spending each morning in the space of intentional creativity in a way that is sharing it with all of you.

By doing so,

Intentionally creating and sharing,

I feel as if I will wholeheartedly,

Thoroughly align to that divine spark in me,

My unique compilation of talents and tools that I can pull together once again and recreate,

Co-create into the world.

And in so doing,

By design,

My spark will alight yours to go out and do something of the same.

So this day 16,

We're following on the theme from yesterday with another practice.

That divine dance between creator and created,

That is the process we must all engage in,

In order to be our most authentic self in the creations we create into the world,

Is one of receptivity,

And here it is again,

Creativity.

Yesterday,

We did a quick practice.

It's Qigong,

Drawing down the sky.

Today,

We take up from the original source of creativity,

The earth,

The dirt and water,

Soil,

Seedbed,

And pull it into our core.

This doesn't so much complete the circle,

The dance,

As it does keep that continuous loop going.

We draw down in receptivity,

And we pull up and put out in creativity.

So like yesterday,

I ask you to stand up,

Feet side by side,

Comfortably aligned,

Hands at your side,

Arms and shoulders loose,

Spine erect,

Yet relaxed,

And head open to the remembering of that receptivity we drew down yesterday.

Take those hands from this position,

Take those hands,

Bend your knees,

Sweep them wide,

Bend down and scoop up the earth,

As if drawing water from a rippling creek.

Scoop that energy,

Scoop that material into your core,

And then turn your palms and push it out,

And come back to that mountain pose,

Hands at your side.

Once more,

Spread palms wide,

Face down and pull up that earth,

Draw in all that material,

That energy,

That creativity to your core,

And then turn the palms and push it out,

And return to that comfortable mountain pose.

One more time,

Let's bend and scoop,

Draw in and push out,

And return.

Once you're comfortable with the movement of this practice,

Begin to let your imagination run wild with the visualization.

This is purposed creativity.

We draw up those beautiful tools and materials that the earth has provided.

We pull them into ourself at that core,

Where the divine spark was ignited yesterday through receptivity,

And then we mix those together,

If you will,

And push them out into the world as our gift,

As our connection point,

As our fire,

And we do it again.

This is the divine dance,

The push-pull.

This is life.

This is Awaken Creative.
