It offers opportunities and if you are elsewhere with your thoughts, you simply miss them. Never listen to recordings like these while driving or using machinery.
Only listen in a safe environment.
Did you ever do this when you were a child?
Lying on your back in the grass?
Or on the sand at the beach?
Or on a deck chair in the garden?
And look at the clouds.
Just staring endlessly at the clouds.
The clouds that keep changing shape.
In which you can see all kinds of faces,
Fantasy figures or other things,
Which then change shape and become something new.
That is also beautiful and enchanting.
Welcome.
My name is Paola Pissou and today I'm going to take you on a wonderful journey to make it easier to live in the now.
Something you do completely automatically when you are staring at the clouds.
And when you do that,
This is the only thing that exists at that moment.
And you know it's good that way.
One hundred percent right.
Staring at the clouds is a prolonged moment of intense relaxation in which you consciously and unconsciously allow yourself to be completely relaxed.
And it's really great that you take all the space you need to do just that.
That you recognize that looking at the clouds is perfectly fine and extremely meaningful.
Accepting that there are minutes in your life that are separate from work or any other more or less meaningful pursuit.
After all,
What's that?
A meaningful activity.
To make a long story short,
It's something that is entirely up to you.
Because you are in control.
You are the director,
The CEO of your own life who has total freedom to decide for yourself what you are permitted to spend your time and attention on.
And whatever you choose to do,
It's fine the way it is.
It's fine.
It's completely permissible.
As you are now,
And please,
Take all the space you need to settle in and rearrange things if necessary so that it's completely to your liking and that everything around you contributes to your relaxation.
That everything contributes to the pleasant journey of letting go,
Accepting and learning to live in the now.
By trusting yourself to rest in the way you want so that you can pleasantly merge into what is now.
In this moment.
And determine for yourself as you turn your attention inward and become aware of your breathing if you can be fully in the now.
You may notice that some of your attention is still on other things.
Things you would have liked to finish today or things you want to start tomorrow.
That some of your thoughts are pulling at you because something is going on at work or with your partner or with your parents or with your children.
Whether it's something that happened a while ago or your attention,
Your thoughts,
Are drawn to something that is part of the future.
These thoughts,
These fragments that are bouncing around in your mind and distracting you from being fully in the present.
That's why I'm asking you now to imagine that your breath is like a magnet.
With each breath you are attracting all the thoughts that are keeping you from being fully present with yourself and fully present in your body.
A magnet that with each breath attracts everything that belongs to the past or the future.
And with each exhalation you release all of this and unwind.
Breathe in through the nose in four counts where the magnetic force attracts all your thoughts of the past and future so that when you exhale you are completely and perfectly in the now here in this place letting go of everything so that you come to yourself undivided perfectly and merge into yourself into a completely relaxed state of being.
And as you exhale make a very small gap between your lips through which the air escapes at the slowest possible rate as you breathe out.
Think of it as a deflating balloon that you stretch the end causing it to deflate extremely slowly.
You feel as you let the air out little by little that all your limbs relax and calm down more how they merge eagerly merging into deep repose.
And the next time you inhale the magnet works once again with its subtle power.
All your thoughts of the past and the future are attracted and sucked in as if through this magnetic power source things are neutralized and you merge completely with yourself again becoming 100% absorbed in yourself and fully present in the moment.
And breathe out between the small opening you make with your lips and allow the air to flow slowly and gently and bring all your limbs into this flow and feel them getting heavier feel them sink deeper deeper into the surface on which you're resting more and more at ease allowing yourself to relax on such deep levels.
As you lie here calmly breathe in quietly and as you exhale breathe out any tension or stress you may still be experiencing.
Your physical body gradually unwinds and you experience ever more comfort and softness.
With the next inhalation breathe in calmness and allow this calmness to flow throughout your being.
Exhale calmly like a balloon deflating and notice how the relaxation increases.
Tension is released and flows away with the air that you blow out.
And so do the thoughts that have had their value and meaning they just flow away and disappear.
And I ask you now to imagine yourself in a beautiful place in nature.
It's a place where you feel completely at ease and peaceful.
Who knows?
It's in a beautiful clearing in some forest.
Perhaps it's on the beach lying in the sand or in a hammock in a hammock between two palm trees.
Or it might be in a hut somewhere in the mountains resting among the rocks near a babbling brook.
Either way,
It's your perfect spot.
And it's a beautiful warm sunny day and you feel peaceful and at one with the universe.
Imagine the warmth that the sun gives off warming your body pleasantly right now.
You are safe here and at one with the peaceful surroundings.
The only things you notice and which add to your sense of peace are the sounds of nature and the impression it makes on you.
Perhaps it's the sound of leaves rustling on the trees lightly stirred by the wind.
Maybe it's the sound of the waves lapping as they come.
Coming and going rolling up the beach in all its whimsical shapes.
And then receding into the sea.
Or the sound of a babbling brook in the mountains where the crystal clear water flows sweetly from the rocks to the lower ground in perpetuity like soothing music to your ears.
A variety of nature sounds depending on where you are.
You enjoy the feelings it evokes a sensation of comfort and a profound sense of inner peace tranquility and serenity.
And while you allow yourself to rest comfortably to quiet your mind you look up.
You look up at the beautiful blue sky.
It's this perfect shade of blue that you enjoy and slowly a soft fluffy white cloud drifts into your field of vision.
The substance which resembles a wisp of cotton wool moves upwards little by little and you witness its shape unfolding in front of you.
Slowly the cloud drifts towards you at a languid pace high up in the sky.
And you wonder what else it looks like.
And you see in front of you how at a fair by a whorl a huge white pink stringy web is transformed into a cloud like candy floss.
As if you could eat the cloud floating high in the sky eating cloudy white pink candy floss for the rest of your life this idea forms a smile around your mouth.
And the cloud it too resembles the fluffy filling of a duvet or a warm winter coat filled with down.
If you were to cut it open with scissors and take out the filling you would soon be completely surrounded by this soft white cloud like texture.
The substance,
The fabric that you keep pulling and pulling out it multiplies and multiplies until you are entirely absorbed in it and sheltered within it like a child playing and marveling at this expanding white soft substance.
And the white cloud that was still and high in the sky just a moment ago has now descended to take you,
Yeshua on a wondrous journey.
One in which you travel into the realms of your subconscious where infinite wisdom and knowledge dwells.
Your subconscious mind which eagerly absorbs all the lessons and processes them in a totally unique way a way that suits you.
The white cloud wraps around your body and envelops you.
You are totally absorbed in it and secure in its safety.
It surrounds you as if you are cradled in arms in which you've been completely safe in so many times before.
Safe and secure warm and comfortable.
How special it is how wonderful it is that this soft fluffy cloud surrounds you and you gratefully nestle further into it.
Gradually you let go into this safety.
As the cloud carries you lifts you up like a parent respectfully and full of love and admiration for a small child.
You rise with the cloud into the blue sky into the heavens feeling gravity disappear experiencing being lifted on and on higher and higher into the sky on this lovely,
Sunny,
Beautiful day protected sheltered and invisible in that reliable white cloud intimately content bathed in comfort and ease.
It really is the perfect day to be carried away to travel as a companion of the cloud which in turn is propelled by a warm summer breeze and as you float there at high altitude with the cloud and look down you see the earth it's like looking at a miniature park everything seems so small and insignificant you see matchbox sized buildings everywhere and tiny hills and valleys hairpin bends that seem to wind over mountains forests,
Moors streams and rivers all shrunk it seems all so tiny and you drift away further and further away surrendering to the leisureliness there's nothing to do now you just let yourself be carried away relaxed totally at ease surrendering to that fine feeling where you are part of the cloud carried by the wind enjoying this eternal now any place you're taken to is beautiful whether you are yourself or a cloud your form is completely unimportant now it's as if your ego is absent all that matters is being just being all judgements dissolve like a cloud dissolves you can let go of your physical form because it's not important now that's why it's much easier to turn within to get in touch with your silent knowing to that place deep within into the stillness at ease in that accepting state in which you completely trust all the knowledge of the silent wisdom this knowing that is receptive and eager your subconscious is listening curious about all the positive suggestions that are acceptable worth considering in this deliciously relaxed state of being it's simply overwhelming to feel this light and carefree all you need has vanished like snow in the sun as well as worries you don't need anything from yourself and anyone who wants anything from you or needs anything from you is at an immeasurable distance from you invisible gone all the needs the demands that you or others place on you have dissolved blown away by the wind only one thing is fully present this feeling of lightness and ease absolute surrender to bliss and the delicious feeling that comes with it enjoy breathe calmly and enjoy this delicious feeling this absolute enjoyment subtly asks for something it asks you to detach yourself from events from other spaces and times it asks you to remain present in the here and now to what is happening in the here and now the past is gone the future isn't here yet and you are in the middle of the intersection so to speak with the label now the past moves to the left and is over like a closed book once it existed but now it's gone never to return in the same form the unnecessary evoking and reliving sometimes takes up too much space at the expense of absolute enjoyment the future is to the right of the timeline and may yet begin its existence and you may have your dreams of how your future ideally unfolds but a dream image full of preferences,
Details and meticulously worked out plans is your made-up idea a different form than the future will take and you realize that the future is going its own way and the future and you fall into place once you detach yourself from your dreamt images of the future residing in the now is like sailing like floating on the ocean all attachments that you let go of drift away living in the moment makes you see really see what's in your path at the moment it's there so you can leisurely anticipate it trusting instead of creating 101 scenarios about what might happen it's always going to be scenario number 102 anyway and if you stumble or fall just get back up laugh at yourself put things into perspective and carry on happily really everyone stumbles once in a while everything human is familiar instead of strange and your ego or your ambition makes you stumble more than you should it causes unnecessary tension and picture this a life where you hardly need anything from yourself where you break free from having to from doing your best from achieving where you are happy with little where you realize you have enough and how this brings you closer to the now the present desire for money or power or goods belongs to the pathway of the future and if you can let go of that you're free like a cloud floating high up in the beautiful blue sky moments without ambition are moments in the present minutes without thought are moments in the present where the immediately felt experience and sensation dwell that are intensely,
Deeply felt lived you gain experience by doing by acting by stepping over the threshold of an open door and watching observing what experience life brings you and you know predicting things in advance and telling what something is going to do only a medium or a clairvoyant can do that but what prediction of theirs has ever come true reality is always here and now where past and future are left at home focus your attention on the moment the present the now wherever you are with your whole consciousness be engaged in the here and now where you can feel and experience reality with immediacy where all the fear of missing of missing the boat is gone the fear of missing out is gone what's there is enough and will always be enough realizing and knowing this is what gives you true peace of mind stress melts away from your mind and body and opportunities to live life to the fullest multiply from today it multiplies because your subtle mind know exactly how you can stop and how you can start what options and opportunities you have for great growth experience and joy as you lie here languid your mind has settled down quiet sort of completely empty this brings the opportunity to look at things from a distance to look at yourself your body your life your surroundings the world taking distance always offers a new and often unexpected perspective detach yourself from yourself and the situations you encounter it's like you're floating above them like a cloud and observing all the trees in the forest instead of wandering around lost in the dark where you can get caught up in the issues of the day blinded by ambition or fear those things that cause overthinking or racing thoughts behave like a storm in which your thoughts flow with unprecedented force and it's now overwhelmingly clear that you have been frequently been visited by a seemingly endless stream of thoughts it's healing to look at this every now and then from above from your cloud at a safe distance safe and secure while you reside in your own inner world to realize that all your life you were always surrounded by such beauty and from above from your cloud from a distance it's easier to perceive what's really real and what's an illusion a concept that you have taken for real somewhere in your life but you now have the recipe in your hands to change the way you see and do things the insight that everything is already good as it is that you are good as you are everything has always been there and you want to break free while you're still on that cloud high in the sky free from all criticism appreciation turns things around fully appreciating yourself and all the contributions of your nearest and dearest seeing,
Accepting that you are good that others add value and meaning every day that life is colorful and beautiful what a possibility what a great opportunity to realize this instead of losing yourself in constant criticism and fussy details it makes sense to feed your consciousness with realism and positivity just follow your breath of life and your inner voice breathing in so that life literally flows through you and your heart beats to carry the healing oxygen through your body when you live in the now and perceive and consciously see all the beauty that presents itself your life is enriched and you become more sensitive to experiencing the small adventure an extraordinary life an adventure full of small precious moments by slowing down a little you speed up renewal everything becomes somehow new every day like doing everything for the first time seeing things for the first time step by step is much better than fast,
Faster,
Fastest a slower pace gives sight view and insight to what's there all that is in your life the colors around you the little unexpected gestures like the hello at the checkout how are you now?
The plants,
The animals the art in museums and the special graffiti around the corner all the unexpected small surprising joyful events that you notice from now on those special moments that you love to share so that you can receive and from your wealth and abundance share what you can share in this life sharing is enjoying wholeheartedly sharing what you have your good sense of humor your stories your skills and all your talents to share is to multiply better to make the best of every opportunity life is like a necklace of pearls that you receive and each pearl is a precious reminder of a special moment live in the now the present the moment your focus is right here Carpe Diem seize the day every day a fresh start a new beginning making the best of it the best of each day each particular moment out of spontaneity and a deeply felt inner desire to improvise to put things into perspective to never take anything for granted it's good as it is this insight this wisdom clears away all your worries for whom is worrying a pleasant entertainment anyway?
Or anticipating foreseeing problems that never happen and if they are they anyway better to solve them quickly like ripples in water disappearing live your life to the fullest day in and day out and feel your security grow as well as your sense of happiness and to become a person full of respect and appreciation for everything that lives and moves become a human being at peace with yourself and the world living in generosity and sharing the idea I'm okay and you are okay too how wonderful to realize at the end of each day that you have achieved something no matter how small and if you look really closely the end of the day is the sum of many small beautiful things every time you notice that all thoughts and habits are knocking on your door and asking for your attention then kindly engage with them as if they were old acquaintances whom you lovingly inform of your new figure your renewed,
Renewing self look you then say this is my new self living in the moment in the now in the present then you respectfully let the old habits leave you wave them goodbye and you look forward to the days ahead and you look forward to a good night's sleep a healing,
Refreshing sleep after another great day a day filled with goodness and with wistfulness and longing you look forward to what tomorrow brings as you relax deeply to fall asleep easily and gently a perfect end to a perfect day and the cloud it has begun its descent gravity gradually regains control of you the cloud takes you safely to the place where this wonderful journey began to the place where you lie down to the place where you rest for a moment you are aware of the mattress the surface on which you are reclining and resting and you feel sleep coming over you the cloud keeps you company and lies like a blanket a warm protective cloak over you enveloping you as if to hold you in its strong arms for a little while longer sheltered safe and secure sleepy very sleepy peaceful completely content lying in the now all is well as it is an invigorating healing sleep taking you into dreams while you sleep and rest sleep peacefully dream on have a wonderful night sleep well sleep tight
