If you're here right now,
I'm going to gently guess today might not be your best day.
Maybe something feels off.
Maybe everything feels off.
Or maybe you can't even quite explain it.
You just don't feel like yourself.
And before we go any further,
Let's take the pressure off.
You don't have to fix this.
You don't have to turn it into a good day.
You don't even have to understand.
You're allowed to have a no good,
Very bad day.
And you're allowed to sit with it without making it mean anything about who you are.
So let's just be here together.
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Just let your body rest.
Close your eyes gently if that feels okay.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
And exhale through your mouth.
Not a forced breath.
Just an honest one.
Again,
Inhale.
And exhale.
And as you breathe,
Notice this.
Even when your mood feels heavy,
Your breath keeps moving.
In and out.
Just like this moment.
Now instead of trying to feel better,
Just notice how you actually feel.
Without labeling it as wrong.
Without rushing it away.
You might even say quietly to yourself,
This is what's here right now.
That's it.
No forcing.
No fixing.
Just acknowledging.
Because sometimes the hardest part isn't the feeling.
It's the resistance to the feeling.
And right now,
You're choosing something different.
You're letting it be.
Now imagine your mood like a cloud.
Not the sky.
Just a cloud moving through it.
And you are the sky.
Wide,
Steady,
Unaffected at your core.
The cloud might feel dark,
Heavy,
Thick.
But notice something.
It's not all of you.
It's just passing through.
And even now,
Without you doing anything,
It's already shifting.
Because everything does.
Now gently bring your awareness to your thoughts.
Notice if your mind is trying to replay something.
A conversation.
A moment.
A feeling you wish had gone differently.
And instead of getting pulled into it,
Just notice.
Oh,
There's my mind replaying.
And softly guide yourself back to your breath.
Because you don't have to solve the moment right now.
You don't have to relive it to understand it.
You're allowed to let go.
You can let it pass without looping it.
Try this quietly.
I don't need to carry this forward.
Let that land for a minute.
Now take a slightly deeper breath.
And notice something simple but important.
This moment is already changing.
Even if it doesn't feel like it,
The mood that arrived is already moving.
Just like your breath.
Just like the clouds.
Just like every bad day you've ever had before this one.
It came.
It stayed for a while.
And then it shifted.
This one will too.
Place your hand on your heart if that feels okay.
Not to fix anything.
Just to be with yourself.
And quietly say,
I can sit with this.
I don't have to rush this away.
This will pass.
And one more that you can carry with you.
This is a moment,
Not my identity.
Let that settle.
Take one more slow breath in.
And exhale gently.
Begin to bring your awareness back to your body.
Wiggle your fingers.
Your toes.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
And as you move through the rest of your day,
Remember this.
You are allowed to have hard moments without turning them into a hard life.
You are allowed to feel without getting stuck.
And you don't have to chase a better mood.
You can simply let this one pass.
Just like it always does.
You're doing better than you think,
Beautiful soul.
