Hello,
And welcome to this guided meditation.
My name is Paige Petchlar,
And I'll be your guide today.
Before we get started,
Find a comfortable space for yourself today.
You can cross your legs,
You can lay down,
Whatever feels best.
Once you get there,
Just let out a sigh,
And gently start to close the eyes if that feels nice.
As you do so,
Just starting to bring your breath into your stomach,
Breathing in through the nose,
Expanding through the sides of the belly,
The front,
And the back.
Then as you get to the top of your breath,
Hold it,
Hold the breath in.
You can take another small sip of air through the mouth,
And fully exhale out of the mouth.
Do two more of those,
So breathing in through the nose,
Bring the air into the belly.
Hold at the top,
Expand it out.
Take another small sip of air through the mouth,
And release.
Letting go,
Letting go,
Letting go.
Breathing in through the nose,
Expanding here,
Holding it out at the top.
Small sip of air,
And let it go.
For that last one,
Feel your shoulders melt toward the floor,
Even if it's just a little bit,
Just letting that go.
Letting the jaw start to relax,
The cheeks,
And feeling as the breath starts to smooth out.
And if your mind starts to wander,
Just hearing yourself say to yourself,
I am breathing in,
And then I am breathing out.
Bringing your awareness to the base of your spine,
At your tailbone.
In both of your sitz bones,
Feeling the balance between both sides,
And feeling this part of your body connect with the floor or the couch beneath you.
Feel where they connect,
And on your next exhale,
Feel your entire body sink toward this point.
Imagining the color red,
Feeling the space in between your sitz bones and at your tailbone,
And hearing yourself say,
I belong.
Feeling the sensation of belonging,
Of being safe,
Being safe right here,
And allowing your body to sink toward this point,
To melt toward this point.
Moving up the central channel to your sacral chakra,
Two inches below your belly button.
And now just starting to envision a beautiful ocean,
And a sunset,
From all inside your body.
This beautiful ocean,
Sunset,
Are within you,
And feeling that warmth throughout your lower stomach and your pelvis,
And feeling the essence of beauty,
Of passion.
Feeling embodied,
Feeling this beautiful orange move into your lower back,
This warmth,
And hearing,
I am beautiful,
And taking a few breaths into this area,
And letting anything move or shift as it needs to.
And then travel up the spine to the upper stomach,
The solar plexus,
Feeling the beautiful radiance of the sun,
This gorgeous yellow color that exists within you.
Feeling its rays,
This beautiful yellow,
Almost imagining a lemon in color,
Breathing in and out.
Once you've found your breath there,
Making a resolve of reclaiming your power,
Any pieces of you that you have knowingly or unknowingly given away,
Call them back to you now,
And as you do so,
Feel this sun grow lighter and brighter,
Feeling centered,
Awake,
And alive within yourself.
Traveling up into your heart,
The center of your chest,
And once you're there,
See how it's doing,
Ask your heart how it's doing,
And just take a few breaths,
Letting it know that you're here.
You're here with your heart,
No matter what it's been carrying,
How it's been feeling,
You're here with your heart space.
And as you breathe,
Bringing in the image of a gorgeous white rose,
Right in the middle of your chest,
Just noticing how open this rose is today,
With no judgment,
Spending some time connecting with it,
And then letting it know that it's safe to open,
Sending some breaths to your heart space,
This beautiful,
Sensitive,
Powerful space.
Really see as this rose starts to open,
To bloom,
Seeing as the sun's rays start to coax it open,
And allowing the love and the support around you to just open and heal and love this space,
Feeling this rose open and shine and receive the sun's rays,
And just taking a few breaths in this sacred,
Sacred space.
Anchored in this presence of love,
We make our way up to the throat chakra.
Feel the sides of your neck start to relax,
As you relax into the clearest blue sky you've ever seen,
Crystal in its perfection.
Sensing that blue color to the hollow of your throat,
And if things start to move,
You took off,
That's all right.
Seeing your throat washed with this beautiful,
Clear blue.
Open and balance,
Hearing yourself,
Feel the words I speak.
Taking a few steps upward in between the eyebrows,
At your third eye center,
Space in between the eyebrows relaxes and opens,
Breathing in there,
Finding the midbrain a few inches behind the center of your eyebrows,
Right where the pineal gland is.
Bringing awareness there,
And as you do so,
Feeling and asking your visionary center to clear,
To open,
And to see.
The color indigo,
Opening like a lotus flower.
Feeling lastly to our crown chakra,
The very top of our head,
You can feel a lightness,
A white light surrounding this space,
Opening your crown.
We are safe beneath,
We are safe throughout our bodies,
And the crown can open now to new ideas,
New forms of love,
New connections,
And most importantly,
To our highest self.
Feel this bright white light connect you to your highest self now,
And let that be however it needs to feel.
Breathing in here,
Asking your highest self now to guide you,
To move you,
To heal and support your body in ways that you might not have known,
And feeling this white light start to travel throughout your body,
To pulsate in alignment and love,
Relaxing and opening this natural flow that is you.
Taking a few moments in silence here to open,
To breathe,
And to just be.
Starting to come back to your breath and your body,
Bringing your attention back to your root,
To the base of your spine,
And just allowing yourself to integrate.
Taking a deep breath in through the nose,
And a full sigh out.
Bring your hands to heart center,
Just rubbing them together,
Generating more of this goodness that you've created.
Hold them at the heart,
Taking a full breath in and hold at the top,
And release,
Exhale.
Allowing this to move through you for the rest of your day,
Feeling open and centered,
Ready to receive and to give in true alignment.
Gently bowing forward,
Surrendering even more.
Namaste.
