As we quiet our minds and steady our hearts, we set deep intentions for compassion, strength, healing, and peace. This meditation will empower you with resilience so you are able to take action for the benefit of all living beings.

Hello,

This is Paige with a meditation for those who are devoted to acting for the benefit of all living beings.

As we begin to quiet our minds and steady our hearts,

We'll be setting a deep intention for healing,

Compassion,

Strength and peace.

Sit comfortably,

Both literally,

Physically in your body,

With your spine upright,

Your jaw relaxed,

Your face relaxed,

Your shoulders relaxed.

And symbolically be at ease in your mind as best you can,

Not trying to force anything special to happen,

Settling,

Relaxing,

Being at ease.

If you'd like you can close your eyes and just let the body settle.

Feel the natural state of the body.

Notice your connection with the floor cushion.

Let yourself feel held,

Supported.

Notice the natural state of your breath.

Just allowing your breath to be just as it is.

Feel the breath rising and falling.

It's the simple,

Natural structure of your breath,

Just as it is.

I'll repeat some phrases and you can say them too,

Either silently or repeating them after me.

Understanding that intention.

May we replenish our bodies and minds with rest.

May we be free from suffering and causes of suffering.

May we see each other with compassion.

May we not fall into a state of indifference or be caught in extreme ways of thinking.

May we know peace.

Understanding those a second time,

May we replenish our bodies and minds with rest.

May we be free from suffering and causes of suffering.

May we see each other with compassion.

May we not fall into a state of indifference or be caught in extreme ways of thinking.

May we know peace.

Repeating those one more time,

This time having the conscious intention of sending these well wishes out into the world to all beings everywhere without exception.

May we replenish our bodies and minds with rest.

May we be free from suffering and causes of suffering.

May we see each other with compassion.

May we not fall into a state of indifference or be caught in extreme ways of thinking.

May we know peace.

Take some time to let those intentions settle.

When you're ready,

You can begin to open your eyes and return to your day.
