Genesis of Thought (Counting your Thoughts)
In this introduction to meditation, you are guided into a simple way of observing the mind by counting the space between thoughts. Instead of trying to stop thinking, the practice begins by gently placing a number between one thought and the next. Little by little, attention moves from the thoughts themselves to the quiet gap that appears between them. As the practice deepens, the number becomes less important, and the sense of “I am” begins to appear in that space between thoughts. This opens a simple doorway into meditation: noticing that beneath the movement of the mind, there is a quiet awareness already present. This video is a gentle starting point for anyone who wants to understand meditation through direct experience, without force or complication.

Welcome to this I call it the genesis of thought.
And.
.
.
It's a simple exercise to learn how to meditate.
And to start using the IAM.
So first.
.
.
Please find a comfortable position.
And we're going to counter thoughts.
So.
.
.
First close your eyes and very gently between every thought we're going to place a number.
Example.
I'm listening to some noise and then you say one.
In your mind.
I hear the birds singing.
Number two.
I like this.
So this exercise is for you to focus.
On what your mind is telling you.
And they interrupt these thoughts with a number.
It doesn't matter how many thoughts you have.
And how many times you count it.
It doesn't matter.
The important thing is you just become aware of it.
So we're gonna do a very short exercise,
Like one minute.
Where you're gonna count the thoughts,
Okay?
So.
.
.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Start counting your thoughts now.
Now slowly come back.
From the state of counting your thoughts.
How many thoughts did you have?
Doesn't matter if there were more or less.
The important thing is just to be aware.
Now,
Instead of the numbers,
We're going to.
.
.
Use the mantra I AM.
So.
.
.
First choose a word that has meaning for you.
For example,
I use IMPs Now with that in mind.
.
.
Start counting your thoughts.
But instead of the numbers,
We're going to use I am,
And something has meaning for you,
Like peace.
Love,
God,
Etc.
,
Whatever you want.
So,
Okay.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
When we start.
Okay,
Very well.
Returning to the NULL This exercise is very useful to be aware of your thoughts.
And it's the beginning of a great journey.
Greater journey.
Towards inner peace.
So I invite you to try this genesis of thought.
For five or 10 minutes a day.
And this is just the beginning.
Thank you for watching me.
And have a fantastic beautiful day.
