Welcome Listener,

I ask that you begin by finding a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

If it feels safe,

You might close your eyes and soften your gaze.

Take a deep breath in,

And slowly let it out.

Again,

Breathe in and this time breathe out.

This time feel the air expand within you,

And exhale,

Releasing any tension,

Any weight that you might have been carrying.

Now imagine yourself standing at the edge of the sea.

The sky above is vast,

Stretching endlessly in every direction.

The waves roll in,

Steady and constant,

Smoothing the jagged edges of broken glass,

Transforming them into something soft,

Something beautiful.

Life too does this for us.

It weathers us.

It tempers us.

The storms may feel relentless.

The tides may pull and push,

But they are shaping you,

Turning your sharp edges into something luminous,

Something whole.

Breathe in the salt air,

The feeling of transformation,

Of change.

Breathe out the fear of breaking,

The resistance to what is shaping you.

It is brave to stand exposed,

To let the wind strip away what no longer serves you.

It is courageous to feel,

To be vulnerable,

To soften in the face of hardship instead of hardening.

Every challenge,

Every loss,

Every moment of darkness is not erasing you,

It's refining you.

So bring your attention back to the warmth that still exists.

Even in the depths of uncertainty,

The sun still rises,

Spilling light across the horizon.

The kindness of a stranger,

The laughter of a friend,

The quiet peace of your own breath.

These are embers that refuse to go out.

So let yourself gather them now,

Breathe them in,

Feel them settle deep within your bones.

A quiet glow in the center of your chest,

A reminder that light is never truly gone.

Even in the darkest nights,

Stars remain.

And even after the storm,

The sea glass shines.

You are still here.

You are still becoming.

You are not alone.

When you're ready,

Slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Wiggle your fingers and your toes and let your breath deepen and your body awaken.

As you open your eyes,

Please carry this truth with you today.

You are light.

You are warmth.

You are the beauty that remains.
