Welcome.
Thank you for being here.
And breathing here.
This very moment we get to share.
Is for you.
For you to welcome your full self here.
And now.
To really take a pause,
A beat.
A moment of reprieve.
And welcome rest into your experience.
To find rest and reprieve from all the busyness and all the doing.
And welcome a bit of stillness and some sounds.
Here,
We remember we are,
In fact,
Human beings.
Not human doing.
So see if you can let go of the doing.
Just for now.
And let yourself be.
Being here and breathing here.
Noticing how the breath is coming in to the body.
And going out of the body.
A friendly reminder,
There's no wrong way to be here and breathe here.
All that you are,
All that you arrived with is welcome.
You are welcome here exactly as you are.
The communal intention for this little pocket of time we get to share is simple.
To welcome ourselves back to our rested bodies and beings.
Here we are invited to embody restful states of being.
To welcome ourselves home.
To befriend our rested being within each moment and all the spaces between as well.
Wherever you find yourself,
Seated,
Lying down.
Is there anything you can do to settle yourself just a little bit more?
Is there anything you can do to get as comfortable and cozy as can be in this moment?
This invitation to pause.
To really take a bee.
And receive a pocket of rest.
And do absolutely nothing.
To undo the doing.
And let yourself be.
We invite in restful states of being.
And we rest for the sake of rest,
As resting is our birthright.
Resting because we are worth the effort.
And the ears.
As we welcome rest to enter our bones,
Muscles,
And tissues.
Every drop of blood down to every single cell of our being.
We welcome rest into the nucleus of each cell.
We welcome rest here and now.
Inside.
And outside of our bodies.
This is an invitation for you to take a moment for yourself to recover.
To rediscover and re-remember how it feels to settle in your heart and rest in your body.
Resting here.
Right now is an act of resilience.
To take a pause and slow down.
Watching the space between silence and sound.
Here we rest as an act of resistance.
Now bring your awareness and attention to the breath.
Notice your inhale as well.
As you exhale.
Take the next five rounds of breath to really find a sense of ease and reprieve in your experience.
Letting all the breath out as you exhale.
And breathing in fully as you inhale.
Letting go of the breath for now.
And notice where your attention goes,
Energy flows.
Bring awareness now to the top of the head.
And almost as though There were water washing over the body.
Beginning with the top of the head.
Water washing through the neck.
Shoulders.
Your chest,
Left and right.
Water washing through the ribs.
Traveling down the back from the upper back.
Made by.
.
.
Lower back.
Entire spinal channel.
And all the vertebra between.
Water washing through the pelvis.
Right and left hips.
Left and right glutes.
Both of your thighs.
Both knees.
Your shins.
Calves.
Ankles.
Soul of the feet washing through.
Washing through the palms of the hands.
The whole of the left arm.
The whole of the right arm.
Water washing through now the whole body,
Both arms.
Both legs.
Torso,
Neck,
And head.
The whole body is being breathed by the breath.
The whole body is receiving rest with each breath.
Whole body.
Whole body.
Countdown now from the number 10.
Breath per number count.
So your inhale,
And exhale are the same number count.
And if you lose place,
That's okay.
Just simply start over at 10,
Counting down.
Now let go of the number count.
And take a moment to thank your heart for guiding you here.
Notice how just a little pocket of rest makes you feel.
See how it is.
To be you.
In this moment.
For the next three rounds of breath,
Let's come back to our communal intention.
Welcoming back your rested body and your rested being.
Welcome home to yourself.
Welcome home.
Thank you for taking a moment to pause and to rest.
Rest is a ripple effect.
And here we let the heart lead with ease.
I am so grateful to be here and breathe here together.
From my whole heart to yours.
Thank you.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
Namaste.
