Closing your eyes gently,
Taking a deep inhale in from your nose,
Holding it at the top,
Exhaling slowly from your mouth.
Following this technique of breathing in through your nose,
Holding and exhaling slowly,
Knowing that it's okay and you're safe to let go and to surrender to sleep.
You are safe and can relax completely.
Taking a deep breath in,
Holding it at the top,
Exhaling slowly,
Visualizing in your mind's eye a small white cloud.
This cloud is carrying your stress and your tension.
Taking a deep breath in,
Holding,
Exhaling slowly,
Seeing this cloud slowly float away,
Becoming smaller and smaller,
Until it disappears from view.
Taking a deep breath in,
Holding,
Exhaling slowly.
Take a moment to notice your body.
How does it feel?
Can you allow yourself to become 10% more comfortable?
Deep breath in,
Holding,
Exhaling slowly.
You see if you can make yourself maybe even 50% more comfortable.
Deep breath in,
Holding,
Exhaling slowly.
Starting at the top of your head,
We're going to allow your forehead to soften,
Feeling the tension and the stress melt away like honey down your face.
It causes your eyes to become heavy,
Your cheeks to soften,
Your jaw softens,
And your head now feels light and stress-free.
Deep breath in through your nose,
Holding,
Exhaling from your mouth nice and slow,
Feeling that relaxation and that honey now flowing down your neck,
Into your shoulders,
Onto your arms and fingers.
You feel the most relaxed you've felt in a really long time.
Deep breath in,
Holding,
Exhaling slowly,
Feeling this relaxation and this honey travel down your back,
Your hips,
And your thighs.
Feel as though you're floating.
It feels easy and effortless.
Deep breath in through your nose,
Holding it at the top,
Exhaling slowly,
Exhaling slowly.
This relaxation flows down your legs,
Into your feet and toes,
Covering you and immersing you completely.
Deep breath in,
Holding,
Exhaling slowly,
Holding,
Surrender to the ease and the peace that you feel.
You feel completely safe.
There is nothing else left to do than allowing yourself to relax and drift off into a deep,
Restful sleep until tomorrow.
One last deep breath here,
Inhaling through your nose,
Holding,
Exhaling slowly.
