If you have a painful memory that brings about the emotions of shame or guilt, give this meditation a try. We will bring these heavy emotions to the surface so that they can be released, you can find relief, and you can move forward on your healing timeline. We will use intentional breathwork and visualizations to deepen the meditation and healing. Shame and guilt are low vibrating emotions and unless we work to reprogram and release these heavy energies, they can hold us back from living our best life. You are safe. You are worthy of healing. You are a self healer.

Meditation to reprogram shame or guilt and find relief.

Hi,

This is Andrea with Nourish Moon.

Thank you so much for being here.

Let's start by finding any comfortable position that feels good for you.

Making sure that you're warm enough.

Feel free to grab a blanket or pillow.

Adjust your clothing.

And when you're ready,

Find stillness and close down the eyes.

Today,

You've chosen a meditation that is important and deep work.

This meditation will help you to reprogram and shift the energy around a memory causing the emotions of shame or guilt.

Shame or guilt carry along with them low vibrations.

These heavy emotions can hold us back from living our best life.

They can cause unwanted feelings during our day and can even manifest as pain or illness in the body.

So it's important that you're here today.

If at any point you feel overwhelmed,

Just remember you are safe.

And you are choosing to do this important work.

And you are supported by the universe,

By your healing guides.

And your ancestors are smiling down upon you.

And they're proud of you for embarking on this healing journey that heals future,

Present,

And past generations.

Let's start by scanning the body for any tension that we can release here at the top of the meditation.

So check in with your feet and ankles and legs.

Can you relax them further?

And your hips and glutes and pelvic floor.

Can you release any tension here?

And now your lower belly,

Your lower back.

Take in an inhale.

And exhale,

Letting tension go from the belly and the low back.

And your upper belly,

Your chest,

Your entire back and spine.

Inhale and exhale any tension from your upper belly,

Chest,

And your back.

Check in with your shoulders,

Arms,

Hands,

And just relax them down further.

Now letting your neck and jaw find release.

And now your entire head,

Your forehead,

Your eyebrows,

Your cheeks,

Your nose,

Your ears,

Your mouth.

Letting any ounce of tension melt away.

Just take a few breaths here on your own.

Feeling the relaxation pulsing through your entire body.

Excellent.

And now I want you to sit with a couple of truths and just let them sink in here.

Start by sitting with the fact that you are worthy of healing.

I am worthy of healing.

Let these words flow right into your heart center and fill up your entire being.

I am worthy of healing.

And now sit with the truth that your past does not define your future.

My past does not define my future.

Let that sink in.

And one more,

Listen to these words and let them flow into your heart.

The human design includes flaws.

Mistakes that I've made and hardships I've gone through have shaped me into the person I am today.

And I am ready to release what no longer serves me at this point of my timeline.

And I'll repeat that.

Deep breath in and exhale.

Now I want you to visualize yourself sitting in a field under a giant night sky.

You can see yourself laying out a blanket to sit on or just sitting down right in the grass.

Looking up and seeing the clearest night sky.

All of the stars are visible.

You only hear a few noises of crickets in the distance.

You feel supported and inspired to let go now in this moment.

So take in a deep breath and exhale.

And now bring up to the surface of your mind a painful memory.

A memory that may even cause your body to heat up when it pops into your mind.

A memory that you don't feel good about.

A memory that you have tried to avoid in the past.

A memory that causes you to feel shame or guilt.

Remember you are supported and safe.

And I'll ask you now to sit with this memory for just a few more moments so that we can assure it is fully brought up to the surface.

You are supported and you are safe.

See all of the thoughts surrounding this memory pulling up into the top of your head.

The emotions,

Let them rise to the top of your head.

The physical sensations,

Let them travel all the way to the top of your head.

Gathering all of the energy from this experience at your crown.

Avoid no parts of this memory.

Avoid no parts of the pain.

Let it rise to the surface and rise to the top of your head.

Take a deep breath.

And exhale.

And when you're ready,

Visualize reaching up to the crown of your head and pulling a plug right at the top of your head.

Right at your crown.

Pulling the plug.

Creating an open energy center right at your crown.

So that all of the energy surrounding this experience can escape.

Feeling it releasing pressure from your head,

Your heart,

Your entire body.

Feeling relief and you may even see a black smoke pouring from the top of your head up towards the night sky.

Sit here remembering to breathe.

Visualizing this black smoke energy floating out of the crown of your head.

Letting this energy transfer take place.

And see the black smoke energy floating further and further away from you depending on how deep the pain is.

You may need to continue to sit here for a few moments letting all of it escape through the crown.

Breathe and release.

You are safe.

This black smoke energy has floated so far away from you up into the atmosphere that it has now been transmuted and dissolved by Mother Earth.

Excellent work.

I am so proud of you for making it to this point.

You are deserving of release and healing.

Now remember your crown is still open here.

We have not replaced the plug on the top of our head yet.

So where we have released the painful energy,

We now have to refill this emptiness with light.

See yourself looking up into this gorgeous night sky with all of the stars twinkling at you.

And notice one star begins to stand out more than any other.

It feels like a healing star just for you placed here in this moment in time to give you healing energy from the universe.

See this star growing in size and see the light from the star beginning to beam down through the night sky traveling towards you all the way until it reaches the crown of your head.

This bright white light is now going to enter your crown to fill all of the spaces where there was previously hurt.

Where there was previously shame or guilt.

Where those emotions were causing imbalance,

This light is going to float all through your head,

Your heart,

Your belly.

All up and down your spine into your arms and legs until it brings peace and healing and comfort throughout.

See this light pouring into you now through your crown.

Breathe here for a moment letting this energy transfer take place.

Excellent job.

Now to hold in all of this wonderful healing energy,

This energy that is going to propel you further along your healing timeline,

Let's replace the plug at the crown of our head.

Knowing that anytime there is pain or discomfort you can pull this plug to release it up towards the sky.

Let's take three deep cleansing breaths here to seal in all of the deep work we've done today.

Inhale,

Feeling the body expand filled with healing.

Exhale,

Release and rest.

Inhale,

Expand with excitement for the future.

Exhale,

Feeling gratitude for this present moment.

Inhale,

Expand,

Feel love filling your heart.

Exhale,

Feeling proud of yourself for being here and doing the work.

Now return to any natural pace of breath that feels good for you.

Starting to notice the surface beneath you that supports you.

Noticing your legs,

Your arms,

Your head.

Maybe inviting little movements in your fingers and toes.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Welcome back to your new timeline where you have released so much of what no longer serves you.

You are safe here.
