Welcome to Whispers of the Horde.
Guided meditations.
I'm your host and guide,
Noriko Tanigawa.
Sometimes.
We carry things we don't realize we are carrying.
Of fear.
That seems to have no beginning.
A belief that says you're not enough.
A tendency to stay quiet.
When you want to speak.
I need to please everyone.
To keep the peace,
To hold everything together.
Sometimes we wonder why we respond the way we do.
Why certain words hurt so deeply,
Why we keep repeating the same patterns,
Why it feels so difficult to choose something different.
And sometimes,
We blame ourselves for not being able to simply let go.
But what if some of these patterns began long before you?
What if the way you learned to survive was shaped by people who came before you?
People who,
Just like you.
Were shaped by their own experiences.
Their own fears.
Their own wounds.
And their own understanding of what it meant to love.
And to be loved.
This does not make the past okay.
It does not erase the pain.
But perhaps we can begin to see it with softer eyes.
Because understanding where a pattern came from does not mean we have to carry it forever.
You're not the history you inherited.
You're not the fear that was passed down.
You are not the wounds of those who came before you.
You're the one.
We can pause.
Noticed.
And choose.
And perhaps this is where healing begins.
Nobody changing what happened.
But by changing the way we hold it.
By releasing the blame we have placed upon ourselves,
By offering compassion to the people who shaped us.
Without excusing the way they may have hurt us.
By forgiving ourselves for the ways we learn to survive.
And by recognizing that,
The moment we become conscious of a pattern.
We are no longer powerless within it.
We can choose a different response.
A different way of relating.
A different way of loving.
Different way of living.
And perhaps one generation can become.
The place where pattern ends.
Not through anger.
Nor through brain.
But through awareness.
Through compassion.
Through forgiveness.
Through love.
So today,
You are invited to gently turn toward what you carry.
Not the judge yet.
Not to fight it,
But simply to see it.
To honor what came before you.
To offer compassion to the person you have been.
And to remember.
That you have the power to choose what comes next.
You do not have to carry everything you were given.
You can keep the love.
You can keep the wisdom.
And you can gently sit down.
What no longer belongs to you.
This is.
Breaking the cycle.
A meditation for generational healing.
And whenever you're ready.
We will begin this quiet journey of understanding,
Of giving.
Releasing and choosing a new way forward.
With compassion.
With courage.
And with love.
Find a comfortable seat.
Or lie down.
Allow yourself to ease into this practice.
Maybe stretch,
Move around a bit and see which position speaks to you today.
Grab your favorite blanket,
Favorite pillow,
Anything and everything to make you feel comfy.
If you need a moment.
To gather your items,
Feel free to pause this meditation and you can come back whenever you're ready.
And now we are going to begin our practice by taking a deep breath in and out three times.
Take a deep breath in.
And breath out.
Take another deep breath in.
And breath out.
One more time,
Take a deep breath in.
And let it go,
Deep breath out.
Are your breasts.
To return to normal and feel the sensation you feel in your body.
Maybe you feel a slight buzzing sensation.
Maybe slight lightness.
A feeling of ease.
Now we need to just observe how you're feeling,
How are your emotions is flowing through your body.
And whether it is a pleasant emotion or unpleasant one.
Allow the emotion to be there.
Let it be.
Flow through you.
In today's meditation we are going to look at our Deep seated.
Beliefs and patterns that we have.
As we look back.
Our life.
And our childhood.
You may recognize some pattern.
Or some beliefs that is repeated over and over.
That makes you feel like you're not good enough.
Or somehow you're not lovable.
And when you come up with.
The ways to defend ourselves,
Try to protect us from getting hurt.
And we start to act.
Or say something.
In a certain way.
That we know.
Really doesn't help us or It's not exactly the most loving way we want to treat ourselves or others.
I think for some of us.
.
.
As we investigate.
This.
Darker part of us.
We might find.
Many more.
For some of us,
We just don't feel comfortable looking at them.
Today we are going to be brave.
We are having this.
Very safe space.
Where we can look at these things without being hurt.
We might feel a little uncomfortable.
But without looking at them,
We cannot see or form it.
So I would like you to.
Look back into your childhood and hit play.
One thing.
That really really affect you the most.
In terms of you feeling loved seeing.
And understood.
And it might be something that your siblings,
Your parents,
Or other close adults may have said or done to you repeatedly.
I want you to.
Find this space to acknowledge that experience.
Exactly the way you experienced,
Don't.
Try to minimize it or shame the experience.
And whatever.
The emotion that is coming up is totally OK.
As you're looking at this experience.
Somewhere in your body it is using that experience as a proof of why you're not good enough,
Why you're not loved,
Why you're not seen,
Why you're not understood.
Like we do.
Acknowledge it.
And then I would like you to.
Also,
Detach yourself from it a little bit.
By imagining this whole experience playing out in front of you.
A TV screen.
And what's playing out is your memory of that experience.
From your very unique perception.
And if this experience is something that caused you.
Pain or trauma.
Can you hold the space for your pain and trauma.
And acknowledge that.
Whatever that was done to you was not right.
It costs you.
Great deal of pain and trauma.
We can imagine your little inner child experiencing.
Feeling hopeless and their heart shattered.
Because of this painful experience.
I want you to hold your inner child and say it's okay.
I love you.
What was done to you was not right.
But this is not the proof.
That you're not good enough.
Or you're not loved.
You are good enough.
You are loved.
And wow this person.
May not see you.
The way you do.
Want them to see you,
But I see you.
I understand you.
I get you.
I love you.
I love you.
And I would like you to Make sure that your inner child is safe.
If.
You can remember what you really like to do as a little child.
Maybe create a very safe,
Brave space for your inner child.
Put favorite toys.
And if your inner child were afraid.
Of something,
Make sure that you are protecting your inner child from.
Whatever it is that they're afraid of.
It's okay.
And now.
.
.
And we do.
Look at this experience from.
.
.
Adult you point of view.
And if this is something that was done by your parents or some other adults that were close to you,
Can you try to imagine?
What might have been going on with them maybe They had a difficult day.
Maybe they were stressed.
Maybe.
.
.
That's the only way they knew.
How to.
.
.
Talk to young children because.
.
.
That's the way.
Their parents.
Raise them,
Or.
.
.
Talk to them.
And I want you to just.
.
.
A little compassion.
To this person who has caused you a great harm.
And this is not to condone what this person did to you if something wrong was done to you.
This is not right.
You have every reason.
To acknowledge that.
But you can still look at this.
Person with a compassion.
And give a little more context too.
Why?
This person behave in the way they did.
Have you thought about?
How this person was raised.
For me personally,
I can tell you both my parents were born right about the time World War II ended.
So I know.
They were raised in a very harsh environment.
And I think.
.
.
Of all of those.
Survival mentality.
That their parents had.
Was passed on to them.
And that left them with very little room.
4.
Emotional intelligence and understanding.
And it's not.
That it's wrong.
It just was.
The time,
The era,
How people were raised.
The environment that they were brought up.
Didn't give them enough room.
For them to really get in touch with their emotions.
And you wonder.
How my grandparents were raised.
And so forth.
Because if you look back,
It doesn't matter whether you know much about your ancestry or not.
We all come from.
Generations old.
Works.
Going through.
Very interesting situations and circumstances and experiences.
And a lot of the traumas that they experienced.
Were inadvertently passed on.
Because the fear and anxiety the parents had.
Typically gets passed down to their kids.
And their kids as they grow up to an adult.
Will teach that trauma.
And patterns and beliefs.
To their offsprings.
So much of our not good enough,
Lack of self-confidence,
Self-esteem.
All that.
May have come from.
Generations.
Or pain and trauma of your ancestors.
When you look at these patterns.
Has been passed down.
Over and over.
And you.
Who are on this.
Self-healing journey have seen this pattern.
You have a choice.
You can keep that belief and pass it down to your life.
Family members or people close to you,
Or you can.
.
.
Be the brave one to stop it.
You can stop.
What if you can be the brave one to stop it?
Because in each and every moment we have a choice.
And choice is not that complicated.
It's really about doing things.
That is the most loving things you can do to yourself.
Or not.
That's it.
So some of the beliefs that you have,
Like.
I'm not good enough.
I have to be perfect.
I have to make sure I'm pleasing everyone.
They need to hold it together and all those beliefs.
What if?
You can choose to not keep it.
And water.
Not continuing this same pattern.
It's totally safe.
Most loving thing you can do to yourself.
Imagine.
You living a life where you don't have to worry about these things.
A life wear.
You know you're good enough.
You know you're loved.
And you are loved.
You feel seeing?
Understood?
And you feel safe being you.
Can you imagine a life?
Where you feel safe being you.
Let's go one step further.
Imagine the world.
Where?
Everybody is choosing to do things from the most loving place of their heart.
Can you imagine?
How that would change the world.
Where people no longer feel like.
.
.
You have to fend for yourself.
You need to get more.
To get ahead.
Everyone is content being themselves.
There is no need to fight because they love themselves.
And there's no need for war because.
.
.
None of that.
Is coming from the most loving place of your heart.
What if?
We can experience the world.
Like that.
And I know I sound so idealistic and utopian,
But.
.
.
I want you to just let your imagination fill with this thought of everyone.
Even just for 5 or 10 seconds.
Actively choosing to do things from the most loving place of their heart.
And every single being,
Every single person is aligning themselves.
With that vibration of unconditional love.
And what if… you practice in this meditation right now.
And all the other people who are listening to this meditation right now.
They are taking in part of this.
Movement where we are making this world a little bit more more loving,
Kinder.
More peaceful place.
What if world peace is really.
.
.
As simple as this,
Just us tuning into peace and unconditional love.
Now we need to feel this.
Peace,
Allah.
And visualize yourself being this.
Very strong antenna.
That can broadcast this.
Love and Peace.
Outward.
You don't need to know where this is going or how this is being delivered.
We just need to tune into this vibration.
And as more and more of us join this movement.
We are going to be able to change the world.
Not through violence.
But through love.
And what if each one of us healing ourselves?
Healing from the past traumas.
Easing.
This multi-generational.
Pain and patterns.
Is changing the world little by little as we speak.
What if we are that powerful?
And for now.
.
.
I would like you to bring forgiveness to yourself.
For all the not good enough stories.
The traumas that you still carry.
All that you feel you need to heal.
And every part of you that.
.
.
You don't like so much about yourself.
Why don't we just give ourselves off the hook?
Just forgive ourselves.
And say,
It's okay.
With all these traumas.
Beliefs and behavior patterns.
All the things I know we need to work on in our lives.
We love us.
Exactly the way we are.
And us being.
Constant work in progress.
Is perfectly good enough for us.
We continue to evolve.
Continue to heal.
Continue to bring awareness.
And to all those.
People.
Who has done some.
Harm in your life.
They were doing their best.
With all that they knew.
In that moment.
That send compassion to them.
I say it's okay.
We forgive you.
We don't condone what was done.
But we forgive you.
And I want you to imagine yourself.
Standing on top of a mountain.
And you can imagine the most beautiful scenes up there.
You feel the breeze.
Let me feel that.
The rock where you're standing on.
Some trees.
Other mountains surrounding the area,
And the breathtaking views.
And imagine.
You feel.
The bright white light just above you.
Showering you with unconditional love.
Turning your trauma.
That's the gift.
Where you get to learn more about yourself.
And unconditional love.
You can open your arms and receive this shower of light.
Compassion,
And forgiveness.
Opens your heart.
And you are ready to receive.
All that love.
That was waiting for you.
To be felt.
And now.
Let's bring back all these.
Amazing.
Be in peace.
And unconditional love back into our physical realm.
Slowly,
We go a thousand fingers.
Rotate our wrists and ankles.
Shake your head yes or no.
Whenever you're ready.
Slowly.
Open your eyes.
Welcome back.
Even the most stubborn.
Beliefs and patterns that we think we cannot get rid of.
We can totally heal from them.
Never lose faith in yourself because We have this.
Power to choose.
And if this is not something that is helping you or healing you.
All you need to do is to start saying no to that.
You don't need to know what to do or how to do.
By you recognizing it and start saying no to some of those debilitating patterns that you have or some beliefs that is crippling you.
You absolutely can heal from it.
And if you ever feel stuck in your healing journey,
Come back to this practice and take a break.
Allow your heart to.
Open enough to receive.
Au revoir.
Peace and harmony.
That is ready to shower you.
A new life.
