Good morning,

Welcome to the day.

Have a stretch,

Crack open a window and get a big deep breath of fresh air.

Make sure your curtains are open,

Blinds are open so you've got a nice big lot of light coming into whatever room you're in,

Whatever place you're in.

Make sure it's nice and bright to wake you up.

Now I just want to remind you this morning there will probably be some sort of challenge.

It's how life works.

Something will come up which is sort of unpleasant which you'd rather not have happen,

Not hear about,

Whatever it is.

So just be prepared for that.

So that you can use mindfulness to see it go aha I saw this you see,

It's fine.

And so you shortcut the short circuit the usual response of annoyance,

Anger,

Worry,

Whatever.

Just be ready for that.

Now here are some useful things to remember for today.

There's no good or bad.

There is only joy and lessons.

Anger can be quick to arise and all consuming.

It often carries us away with it so we're more detached from reality.

Remember that because of this things people say when they're angry almost never true.

If you find yourself getting angry today wait until the anger has passed then notice how accurate things were that you thought and did while you were angry.

Here's a quick exercise you might want to practice throughout your day today.

Whenever you remember to just pause for a moment wherever you are and listen to the ambient sounds around you.

Stay open to whatever it is just accepting anything that comes to you and not actively trying to strive after anything.

Just keep an open awareness.

Now what can you hear?

That's all from me for today.

Remember to keep an open mind and I hope you have a lovely day.

Bye bye.
