Hey y'all,
Nico here.
Welcome back to my channel.
And if you're new here,
Thanks for joining me.
I'm Nico.
Today's practice is for the full moon and lunar eclipse in Pisces.
From what I was reading,
This moon brings deep emotions and sudden epiphanies to the surface.
It urges us to find balance between daily routines and spiritual rest.
And it's a powerful time to release old patterns and sit with feelings rather than YANI MUDRA Mudra will help us to activate the Sacral Chakra.
To do the Jnani Mudra,
I want you to press,
Make two fists,
Press those knuckles together,
And then extend your index finger and your thumb You can let those index fingers point down,
Kind of rest them in your lap here.
Go ahead and close your eyes or lower your gaze to the floor.
Take a deep inhale through the nose.
And exhale out the mouth.
Take a second deep inhale through the nose.
And exhale out the mouth.
One more deep inhale through the nose.
And exhale out the mouth.
Bleh.
And I'll see if you can establish that steady breath in and out of the nose.
To use throughout the practice.
Just spending our first few moments preparing our minds and our bodies for this practice.
Where we hope to embrace our emotions and find balance.
Good,
Take a inhale.
Exhale,
Release the hands,
Rest them on the knees.
We're just gonna do some neck circles.
So just start to rotate your head.
Around to the right.
Inhale,
Back.
Exhale forward,
Move with the breath.
Good.
Let's switch directions.
Inhale back,
Exhale forward.
A longer version behind the membership,
A longer Pisces practice.
Good.
Bring your head back to a neutral position.
We're going to come up to hands and knees for Cat-Cow,
Marjoryasana,
And Bidalasana,
Getting into the back and the spine.
Inhale,
Arch the spine,
Lift the chin,
Flip the tailbone up and away.
Exhale,
Round the spine,
Tuck the tailbone under,
Bring your chin down to your chest.
Inhale arch Exhale round.
In her art.
Exhale round.
Couple more rounds on your own.
Come back to a neutral position.
Bring your big toes together,
Your knees wide.
Float your hips back towards your heels as we extend the arms forward for Balasana Child's Pose.
Good.
Melt your heart down towards your mat.
Remember,
You can always keep your hips lifted or place a pillow underneath the hips in Child's Pose if it's difficult to sit back.
Okay.
Good,
Take an inhale.
Exhale,
Shift your weight forward.
We'll start to extend the right arm up towards the sky.
Inhale up.
Exhale,
Flip the palm upward,
Bring it behind the left right ear,
Right shoulder come down to the ground.
You can keep your left hand resting on the ground or up in that left arm behind your back.
And take a inhale Exhale,
Left hand comes back down to the mat.
Press back onto the table.
We'll do the other side.
Take a inhale,
Extend the left arm up.
You can let your gaze follow.
Exhale,
Flip the palm upward.
Bring it behind the right left ear,
Left shoulder.
Come down to the mat.
And if you like,
You could bend that right arm behind your back.
Cool.
Take a inhale.
Exhale right hand comes back down to the mat.
Press back up to a table position.
And we'll make our way to down dog.
So go ahead and tuck your toes under.
Lift your hips up and back for down dog.
Press your chest towards your thighs.
Elongate through the arms.
Press your heels towards the ground.
If your back is rounded,
Bend your knees and then press back.
It's okay to have your heels lifted.
Your heels don't have to touch the ground,
Especially if that's going to cause a lot of rounding and stiffness in your back.
So try to elongate through those arms.
Remember,
It's okay to have bent knees here.
You could just kind of shift your weight from one foot to the other,
Just getting a little movement here.
Take an inhale,
Extend the right leg back.
Exhale,
Step the right foot up in between the hands and lower the left knee down.
Align the right knee over the ankle and sweep the arms up on genius and a low lunge.
Hmm.
Press down through the ball and the heel of the front foot to help you balance.
Take a inhale.
Exhale,
Bring the left hand down inside of the right foot.
Keep your left leg where it is.
We're gonna extend that right leg back and extend the right arm up for this kneeling half moon.
Good,
This requires some balance here.
Look down towards the left hand to help you balance.
Look up towards the right hand to challenge your balance.
Good,
Take an inhale.
Exhale,
Lower the right foot down.
Kick your left foot out to the side like a kickstand perpendicular to your mat.
We'll sweep the arms up,
Inhale.
Exhale,
Let that right hand rest along that right leg.
Reach this left arm up and over for a gate pose,
Parigasana.
Good.
Take an inhale.
Exhale,
Windmill those hands down.
Come back to a table position on hands and knees.
From here,
We'll lower chest and chin down to the ground.
Let your gaze come forward.
Exhale.
Inhale,
Come to cobra.
Bhujangasana.
Or UpDog,
Or Dvomukhasvanasana.
Inhale.
Exhale with those hips up and back,
Down Dog,
Adho Mukha Svanasana.
Take some breaths here.
Let's do the other side.
Take an inhale,
Extend that left leg back.
Exhale,
Step it up in between the hands.
Lower that right knee down,
Left knee aligned over the ankle.
Let's sweep the arms up,
Anjaneyasana,
Low lunge.
Pressing down through the ball in the heel of that front foot,
Extending up through the arms,
But let those shoulders be relaxed away from the ears.
Good,
Take a inhale.
Exhale,
Right hand comes down inside of the left foot.
Keep the right leg where it is.
We'll extend that left leg back and extend the left arm up for a kneeling half moon.
Try to bring that right hand underneath the right shoulder so you can balance a bit better.
Good.
Inhale.
Exhale,
Lower that left foot down.
Kick that right foot out to the side like a kickstand.
Sweep the arms up.
Inhale.
Exhale,
Left hand will rest along that left leg.
We'll reach this right arm up and over for Parigasana,
Gate Pose.
Take it in here.
Exhale,
We kneel those hands down.
Come back to a table position.
Lower your chest and your chin down,
Bringing your gaze forward.
Keep those hips lifted.
Inhale,
Come up to cobra or a dog.
Exhale,
Lift those hips up and back.
For Down Dog,
Aramukasvanasana.
Take a inhale.
Exhale,
Drop the knees down,
Bring the big toes together,
Bring the knees wide,
Fold the hips back towards the heels,
Extend the arms forward,
Coming back to child's pose.
Balasana.
To the inhale and blow out some air.
Exhale.
Come up to a kneeling position.
We're going to sweep the arms up,
Inhale.
You can reach the arms back if you like.
Try to keep those hips over the heels.
Exhale.
We're going to lower the hips down.
Bring your right fingertips behind you.
Lift the hips again and reach this left arm up and back.
Inhale.
Exhale,
Lower.
Now bring these left fingertips behind you.
Reach the right arm up and back.
Inhale.

Lift.
Exhale,
Lower.
Good.
Come forward and bring yourself into a table position again.
And then we'll bring those legs in front of us as we come to a seated position.
Extend those legs to straight and flex the toes back towards you.
Stick the arms up in here.
Exhale,
Start to hinge forward.
Feel free to round your spine and relax down over the legs.
It's okay to have a bend in your knees here too.
If you like,
You could grab the toes or you can just rest the hands somewhere on the legs or alongside them.
And.
.
.
Take an inhale.
Exhale,
Release.
Roll back up to a seated position.
Let's come down to our back.
Scoot the hips close to the heels and hug your knees into your chest or however you get there.
We'll keep the left knee hugged in as we extend the right leg to straight.
Using the right hand to pull this left knee over to the right.
Left arm extends out to the side.
Just trying to keep your shoulders close to the ground as you can,
But it may lift up or it may be difficult to get that knee over to the ground.
So you can just twist as best as you can,
Or you can place a pillow underneath the shoulder,
The knee,
Or both.
Inhale.
Exhale,
Come back to center.
Hug those knees back into your chest.
Let that left leg rest on the ground,
Extending it to straight.
And we'll use the left hand to pull the right knee over to the left.
Right arm extends out to the side.
Take a inhale.
Exhale come back to center,
Squeeze those knees into your chest,
Inhale hold Exhale,
Release to Savasana.
Feet reach towards the bottom corners of your mat.
Arms rest at your sides,
Palms facing upward.
You can also come to a seated position if you prefer.
Now let's come back to the breath.
Take a deep inhale through the nose.
And exhale out the mouth.
Take a second deep inhale through the nose.
And exhale out the mouth.
One more deep inhale through the nose.
And exhale out the mouth.
Good.
Return to your natural breath again.
Releasing any control over the breath Letting your body be relaxed here.
While you're here,
I'll say some affirmations to you which you can repeat silently to yourself or aloud.
I trust the natural rhythm of life.
I embrace my feelings with an open heart and mind.
I make time to nurture my inner self.
If you'd like to stay here longer,
I invite you to pause this audio now.
Otherwise,
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes,
Coming back into the body,
Coming back into the room.
And if you are laying down,
Rolling to your favorite side,
Using your arm as a pillow,
As we all take a moment here to reflect on our practice and to extend gratitude towards ourselves for this act of self-care and self-love today.
Your next inhale,
Make your way up to a comfortable seat once again.
And together.
We'll sweep the arms up overhead,
Let the hands meet,
Inhale.
Exhale,
Flip and down to heart center.
Namaste.
