Welcome to your I Take The Power Back In My Life EFT Tapping Meditation.
During this meditation,
We're going to focus on releasing the victim mentality we may be hearing.
The victim mentality we may be holding unconsciously that doesn't allow us to take the power back in our lives.
Please note that this does not necessarily apply if you have suffered any type of abuse in the hands of someone else.
This is more meant to help you stop blaming other people,
Consciously or unconsciously,
For the actions that you take or have taken in your life.
It's meant to give you the power in knowing that essentially you always have the power.
So right now,
I want you to just think about something that maybe you feel victim to in your life,
Either now or in the past.
But essentially,
When you really think about it,
You know that you have the power to make different decisions.
And maybe you went along with what somebody else thought you should do,
But you didn't listen to yourself.
And now you blame other people for what happened,
Whether it's conscious or unconscious.
So I would go ahead and think about whatever that is for you and grade on a scale from one through 10,
10 being the strongest.
During this session,
I'm going to tell you where to tap so you can just get comfortable,
However works best for you,
And close your eyes or keep them open.
Just whatever is going to make you feel most comfortable right now.
Let's begin.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Start tapping on the side of your hand.
I know sometimes I blame others for what happens to me,
But I love and accept myself anyway.
I know sometimes I play the victim,
But I love and accept myself anyway.
I know sometimes it's hard to look at how things can be my fault.
So I avoid it,
But I love and accept myself anyway.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Eyebrow,
All the stress.
Side eye,
All the anxiety.
Under eye,
All the blame I sometimes place on others.
Under nose,
I want to release that.
Under mouth,
I know sometimes I don't look at the part that I play in things.
Collarbone,
Sometimes it's easier to blame others for what happens to me.
Under your armpit,
Sometimes it's hard to step back and look at myself.
Top of the head,
I want to release how hard that feels sometimes.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Eyebrow,
It doesn't feel good to never take responsibility for my actions.
Side eye,
It doesn't feel good to always blame others.
Under eye,
I'm getting tired of doing that and I feel like it's taking me nowhere.
Under nose,
I know that my life is in my control.
Under mouth,
Sometimes it's just harder to see it that way.
Collarbone,
It's harder to just do the work myself.
Under your armpit,
I don't like when things feel hard.
Top of the head,
But I want to release that.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Eyebrow,
What if I didn't always have to blame others for what happened to me?
Side eye,
What if I could see that I'm in control of my life?
Under eye,
Yes,
Some things may have happened in my past that I didn't have control of.
Under nose,
But what if I could choose what happened now in my life?
Under mouth,
What if I knew that I had the power?
Collarbone,
What if I knew others really didn't have the power over me?
Under your armpit,
What if it wasn't hard to release the hold that I feel others have on me?
Top of the head,
What if it was easy to make changes within myself instead of blaming others?
Take a deep breath in and out.
Eyebrow,
I'm in control of myself.
Side eye,
I'm in control of my life.
Under eye,
I am in control of my happiness.
Under nose,
No one else is in control.
Under mouth,
I don't blame others for things that happen in my life.
Collarbone,
I look to myself for the answers and that's enough.
Under your armpit,
Others are not in control of my life.
Top of the head,
I am in control of my life.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Eyebrow,
I don't blame others for what happens to me.
Side eye,
I'm happy because I know I'm in control of what happens to me.
Under eye,
Blaming others doesn't contribute to my happiness.
Under nose,
Having control of my life contributes to my happiness.
Under mouth,
When I'm in control of myself,
I am the happiest.
Collarbone,
I don't blame others for what happens to me.
Under your armpit,
I feel best when I take control of my life.
Top of the head,
I feel best when I don't blame others for what happens in my life.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Eyebrow,
I am in control of myself.
Side eye,
I'm in control of my life.
Under eye,
I'm in control of my happiness.
Under nose,
No one else controls me,
My life,
Or my happiness.
Under mouth,
I know that I can make changes to anything whenever I want or need to.
Collarbone,
I know that others have no hold over my life.
Under your armpit,
I am in control of my life.
Top of the head,
I am in control of my life.
Take a deep breath in and out.
