Yoga Nidra Medicine Buddha Chakra Journey
This Yoga Nidra is quite complex in that it includes the Medicine Buddha mantra as well as chakra center vibrational activations and imagery. It is powerful in its intent. Perhaps not so suited to beginners.

Greetings to all and welcome to this Yoganidrom with a focus on the Medicine Buddha.
As we get ourselves ready for this session,
Please remember to offer a donation if you can,
To help support this work and teaching.
Many thanks.
Throughout this meditation you will hear the mantra,
Thayatha Om Beganse Beganse,
Maha Beganse,
Raja Samudgathe Soha.
May all beings be free from mental and emotional suffering.
Hearing this mantra and reciting it brings healing from mental and emotional suffering for our souls and for those we include in our thoughts.
The reciting of this mantra also raises our vibrations so that we become aware of the karmic cycles that bind us so that we are able to see them and release them.
Let's begin.
Lie on your back in Shavasana pose on a yoga mat or in a place where you feel comfortable.
Lie as flat as possible.
If you need to,
Place a thin pillow under your head and a bolster under your knees to take any strain off your lower back.
Cover your body with a light blanket to keep warm.
If you have an eye pillow,
Pop it gently on your eyes.
Turn your attention to your body and adjust your position so that you are in the best alignment possible.
Head,
Neck and spine all in alignment.
Place your arms lightly at your sides away from your ribs.
Palms open up to the ceiling.
Check that your hips are parallel to each other.
Stretch your legs through to your heels.
Push out your heels and feel the stretch along the back of your legs.
Relax and let the feet flop naturally out to the sides.
Use your attention to gently scan your entire body and note any areas of tension.
Feel especially the light sheath of contact between you and the ground.
It connects you to the earth.
Begin to feel your entire body relaxing.
Determine to stay in this pose for the duration of our practice today.
Determine to stay awake.
Become aware of the sounds in your environment.
Hear the most distant sound possible.
There's no need to identify any particular sound.
Just be aware of them and the textures they create.
Gradually begin hearing and listening to the sounds closest to you.
The sounds in your immediate environment.
Draw your attention now to the sounds that appear in the realm of your body.
The breathing,
Swallowing,
Digestion,
Heartbeat.
Observe these sounds as they rise and fall within your being.
Simply observe without reacting.
Notice your body deeply relaxing,
Letting go with each breath,
Feeling safe and secure.
Begin to notice the crystal clear nature of your awareness floating freely in boundless space.
Check to see if this is true for yourself.
Let's take some time now to create our Sankalpa for this session.
The Sankalpa is a short,
Positive,
I am statement that reflects our being or states an intent in line with our incarnation.
For example,
It could be,
I am seen.
I am creative.
I am aware.
I am loved.
Construct a Sankalpa statement for yourself.
Repeat it mentally three times and then release it.
Focus your awareness at the midpoint between your eyebrows at the third eye and then sink your awareness to the midbrain area.
Create a point of intense awareness that is as intense as white light.
Move this point of awareness upon direction.
As we move from point to point around the various parts of the body,
Become aware of your consciousness moving in space and outlining the body.
Be intently focused on that one point.
Do not let your attention waver to any other task.
As you imagine each point,
Add to it the image of a drop of water falling into a still pond and sending out radiating waves so that all parts of the body are covered by this action.

Return your point of awareness to the center midbrain area and consciously dwell there.
Float in awareness.
Notice that as awareness freely floats uninterrupted by any veiling thoughts that there is no boundary.
There is only infinite expansion.
Check this for yourself.
Recall the Medicine Buddha mantra.
In your mind's eye,
Create an image of the Medicine Buddha floating in space before you.
He is seated cross-legged on a large lotus.
His blue skin is robed in a golden robe.
His left hand is resting in his lap and holds a bowl of healing potions.
His right hand holds a healing plant.
His gaze is direct and benevolent.
At the first chime,
Imagine a ray of blue-white light emanating from the heart of the Medicine Buddha to a point about 10 centimeters above your head.
This is your soul star,
Your connection to divinity and higher vibration.
This healing ray is for you and contains all that you will need.
At the second chime,
Imagine a violet light at the crown of your head connecting to the energy point of the first chime.
Bring the healing power of the Medicine Buddha into your being,
Expressing gratitude.
At the third chime,
Imagine a purple light at your third eye.
Connect the energy from the crown center to here.
Feel the vibrations bring clarity to your thoughts and peace of mind.
At the fourth chime,
Imagine a sky blue light at your throat chakra.
Bring the energy from the third eye to here.
Feel the energy radiate around and out from the center,
Purifying our speech and our communications.
At the fifth chime,
Imagine a vibrant green light at your heart center.
Connect the energy from your throat center to here.
Transform it to the power of love.
Absorb the energy and then radiate love and healing to all sentient beings.
At the sixth chime,
Imagine a yellow light at your solar plexus.
Bring the energy from the heart to here.
Transform it to a powerful life force that heals and restores.
Feel the heat it creates as it radiates to all parts of your body,
Bringing balance,
Healing,
And clearing blockages.
At the seventh chime,
Imagine a vibrant orange light at your sacral chakra below the navel.
Bring the energy from the solar plexus to here and transform it to creative energies,
The energy that you need to create,
To build,
To manifest.
At the eighth chime,
Imagine a rose red light at the root of your spine.
Bring the energy from the sacral chakra and transform it here to a deep sense of safety,
Security,
And belonging.
A grounding energy that connects you powerfully to the earth.
At the ninth chime,
Return your attention to the heart chakra and dwell there as pure floating awareness.
Sink deep into the chamber of the heart.
From your point of resting awareness in your heart center,
Follow the chimes up to the throats,
The third eye,
And the crown chakra.
Hearts.
Throats.
Third eye.
Crown chakra.
And now consciously connect yourself to the soul star and directly to the medicine buddha.
Soul star.
Maha Begonze.
Rest your being in your soul star.
Expand the light of your awareness to encompass your entire body in radiant golden light.
Maha Begonze.
Expand your light now from your body outwards from your heart center to include your environment and the people,
Animals,
And beings closest to you.
Include them all with gratitude.
Ta Ya Ta Om.
Expand your awareness and your light even further and envelop as much as you can with your mind.
Be aware that there are no boundaries.
Send your thoughts through space and time.
Add your intent to heal,
To bless.
Radiate this energy from your heart as consciously and lovingly as you can.
Ta Ya Ta Om.
Begonze Begonze.
Maha Begonze.
Vajay Samghate.
So.
Recall your sankalpa that you started a meditation with.
Repeat it once again three times.
Bring your awareness gradually back to your body.
Scan your entire body from head to toe,
Head to toe,
Head to toe.
Feel yourself completely at home in your body.
Feel completely grounded.
Slowly move your feet,
Your fingers,
Become aware of the head touching the ground,
The shoulders,
Your torso,
Your hips,
The backs of your legs.
Stretch through to your heels.
Clasp your hands together in front of you.
And as you stretch them above your head,
Take in a deep,
Relaxing inhalation and exhale.
Open your eyes slowly and welcome the light of the room back into your being.
This is the end of Yoga Nidra.
Hari Om Tat Sat.
