So today,
I wanted to do a fun meditation that works with the shadow and the light within,
But really working with the colors of green and pink.
And you will notice those colors are tied into a theme that's in the entertainment world.
But for now,
Let's just have a little fun with it.
Work with those colors and enjoy this meditation that works with some tools for shadow and light.
All right,
Here we go.
So just find a nice quiet place.
Hopefully you're sitting and relaxed,
Or you can lay down if you want.
Take a few deep breaths.
Just settle in with me here.
And when you're ready,
Just gently close your eyes.
Closing your eyes just tunes out the world for a little bit.
And then we can go within and just enjoy as my voice guides you on this little journey,
This little story through the mind.
And welcome to this meditation that balances your light side with your shadow side.
And we use the healing colors of green and pink.
In this practice,
We will explore the concepts of yin and yang,
Where opposites or duality coexist in harmony.
And each side of you is embraced with love,
Understanding,
And compassion.
And we're representing these by these colors that we're working with today.
All right,
So eyes are closed.
We're relaxed.
And take a deep breath in.
All the way in.
Breathe deep into your tummy.
Fill those lungs with oxygen.
And exhale through your mouth,
Letting go of any tension in your body.
And breathe in again,
Deeply through your nose,
Feeling your lungs expand.
And exhale through your mouth,
Letting go of any tension in your body.
Allow your body to become heavier,
Sinking into the support beneath you.
And settle into this moment and begin to relax.
Just notice that allowing that intention,
Thinking of relaxing or letting yourself relax,
Lets it happen.
And if along the way,
Thoughts start to come to mind,
That's okay.
Thank them for popping in.
But for now,
Just focus on your breath.
And give a gentle awareness to the words that I'm putting out there.
And just settle into this moment.
Now bring your awareness to your heart space,
The middle of your body,
The center of your being.
And imagine with me a soft,
Glowing light of green beginning to fill your heart.
This green light represents love,
Healing,
And growth.
It radiates with a gentle warmth,
Soothing any discomfort or stress you may be holding on to.
And as you breathe,
Feel this green light expanding,
Gently flowing through your chest.
And down into your legs.
The green light moves like a soft wave,
Healing,
Nurturing,
And embracing you with unconditional love.
Imagine that this green light is a bridge,
A bridge that connects your light side with your shadow side.
The light side is a part of you that is kind,
Loving,
And full of possibility.
In your shadow side,
Hold the parts of you that may feel hidden,
Misunderstood,
Or suppressed.
The emotions,
Fears,
Or traits you may not always show to the world.
Remember,
Both the light and the shadow are parts of you.
Neither one is better or worse than the other.
They are two halves of a whole,
And both seek to be understood.
For the purpose of this exercise,
Whatever comes up,
Just allow it.
And if it's a little uncomfortable,
Just breathe and let it move through.
Don't put any judgment on anything that comes up,
But let the body,
Let your intuition,
Your mind bring you these messages and be open to what shows up.
Now,
Visualize a soft pink light joining the green light in your heart.
Pink is the color of compassion and nurturing energy.
And it also represents the unconditional love that you can offer to others.
And most importantly,
The love and compassion you offer to yourself.
As the pink light grows within the green,
The two colors swirl together,
Creating a powerful energy of integration.
The green and pink form a perfect balance,
Just like the yin and yang.
Each color complementing the other.
Each one enhancing the beauty and strength of the other.
Let this pink and green energy begin to expand.
For your body,
Swirling around you and gently surrounding your entire body.
Just imagine,
Just let it happen in this moment.
Whatever you notice is perfectly okay.
Feel the soothing embrace of this combined energy.
An energy that holds both your light side and your shadow side in equal regard.
There is no judgment.
It accepts you as you are and embraces you in this light.
It brings healing to the hidden parts of you.
While the pink light offers deep compassion for the parts of you that feel vulnerable or misunderstood.
Together,
They create a space where both your strengths and your struggles are acknowledged and accepted.
Take a moment to reflect on both sides of yourself and the shadow side,
The parts of you that might carry pain.
See these two sides as not separate,
But as interwoven,
Creating a space where all of these parts are parts of you.
As you breathe,
Allow both of these sides to exist in equal space.
This could be one of the first times that you've allowed for these parts of you to take space and exist together in a moment.
To let them be in balance,
That you haven't been pushing one part to the side or leading from one side or another.
In this moment,
Both are present,
Surrounded in this light and brought into this balance.
Recognize that they don't fight against one another,
But they support and balance each other.
One doesn't exist without the other,
And where the border of one is the for your growth,
Your healing,
Your wholeness,
And your experience of your life.
Take another deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Let go of any judgments you've made about yourself.
Release anything that has come to mind that is no longer serving you.
Allow yourself to feel the love and the acceptance of both your light and shadow sides.
You are whole,
You are complete,
You are enough.
Feel those words now in your heart.
Now take a moment to offer yourself this quiet affirmation.
You can say it in your mind,
Or you can say it out loud.
If it resonates with you,
