This is a meditation to do during your menstrual phase,

Any day while you are bleeding.

This is a highly intuitive time.

During menstruation,

Our body is asking from us to go inwards.

It's a moment of stillness,

Of introspection,

Of rest.

It's a moment of silence and it's in this silence that we can listen when our intuition is speaking.

During the rest of our cycle,

There is too much noise,

We're too occupied with other things but during our bleeding time,

We slow down,

We quiet down,

We go back to basics.

The beauty of the menstrual phase is that it's our body's way to remind us to rest,

To take care of ourselves,

To nourish ourselves,

To ground and reconnect.

I invite you to take a moment right now to find presence within your physical body and listen to what it needs.

Please find a comfortable position,

Whether you're sitting or laying down,

Feel your body in that position,

Visualize your own body from within.

Notice the darkness and warmth that there is inside of your skin.

If it feels good,

Place one hand on your heart and one on your womb and feel the energetic exchange that happens in that touch.

Breathe in with intention and picture the life-giving oxygen coming in through your nose and journeying all the way to your lungs.

And exhale and allow the carbon dioxide that got transformed in your body to come out,

Making space for the next round of air to come in.

As you keep breathing at your own pace,

Imagine the journey of your breath from nose to lungs to heart to blood to your whole body and to your womb.

And as you breathe out,

Visualize how you're releasing everything that you no longer need.

Right now you're cleansing your body,

The body is taking out what weighs on you.

Through this cleanse,

Through the silence and stillness and space we're making,

Our intuition has a clear path to make itself heard.

Is there something you've been wanting to make a decision about?

Is there a person or a situation you're not completely convinced about?

Is there something you really want to do but haven't taken the first step because you're not sure if it's right?

Visualize this thought,

This situation,

This decision.

Let this thought travel down your hand that is placed on your womb and allow it to stay there until it is ready to show you what you truly want,

What you truly desire,

What you truly need.

This is a process that might take minutes,

Hours or even days.

The answer might come to you in the silence of the night or the freshness of the morning or whenever you least expect it.

It will first show itself as a feeling.

Try not to quiet that feeling with logic.

Sometimes intuition and logic don't necessarily go hand in hand.

Once you allow that feeling to transform itself into a concrete thought,

It will feel so right,

It will feel so good.

Allow your body,

Your womb to answer at its own pace.

Come back to your present body,

Remember the position you were in,

One hand on your heart and another on your womb.

Let's thank our body and our intuition for knowing what's best for us by giving it another breath full of intention,

Full of awareness.

Breathe in through your nose,

Picturing the journey of the air being inhaled and breathe out through your mouth,

Exhale what your body no longer needs.

May you have a calm and restful day or night.
