This affirmation practice is going to center on building a affirming and positive relationship with self and to ground ourselves in our values and our purpose in life,
Which is to connect with others and share our unique and precious gifts.
Before we get started,
I ask that you pause and find an object,
A small object,
A stone,
Candle,
Piece of jewelry,
Something you can hold while we make these affirmations.
This object can act as a touchstone as you move throughout your day,
Reminding you of these words that you will share.
Before we share the affirmations,
Settle yourself into a comfortable upright position,
Upright but not rigid.
Move your shoulders down,
Your back away from your ears.
You can shrug shoulders up and down,
Making small circles with them.
If it feels good,
Release some of the tension that we all carry on those strong shoulders.
Take a few deep breaths as you settle into your chair.
Feel the earth supporting you underneath you.
Take one deep breath in deep into the belly and sigh it out.
So just take a deep breath together in through the nose,
Out through your nose gently,
Easy and repeat after me either silently or out loud.
Speaking is very powerful,
So I encourage you to speak these even if it's a whisper.
I am loving and caring of my body,
Mind and spirit.
I am giving,
Centered and compassionate.
I listen with my body,
Heart and spirit.
I leverage my resources to build the world I want to leave for our children.
I am a responsible ancestor.
I embrace joy,
Adventure and creativity in ways large and small.
I fiercely step into leadership whenever I am called.
Take a deep breath in through the belly.
Breathe in all that affirming,
Loving energy.
Feel the support of the earth under you.
Feel the warmth of love you have for yourself and the clear scene you now have of all of your wonderful miraculousness.
Let's take another deep breath together and let it out.
Take a deep breath in through the belly,
Take up all that air and then sigh it out.
Thank you for taking this time with me today.
I wish you peace.
