A prayer for hope on hopeless days.
I am without hope.
The path ahead is unknown.
Obstacles unseen and unimaginable are before me.
I am afraid.
Grant me the presence of mind to stay in the now.
The only moment I ever live.
Help me to see the next step but not to fret about the miles ahead.
Stay with me in the dire moments of despair when all feels lost.
Help me to remember this breath.
This breath now is a miracle.
Miracles happen every moment.
Help me to discern what is mine to carry and what is best left to others to carry.
Guide my speech and thoughts to stay present,
Not to create stories from fear and old patterns.
Ground me in my work and purpose.
Help me to see where and how I can be of service.
Help me to stay disciplined in my care of self and the practices that keep me safe,
Whole and present.
Focus my vision on my people and my duty to do whatever I can to create abundance,
Joy and peace.
Show me ways to be of service and to share my gifts.
Through generosity and authenticity,
I shall know peace.
Protect me from those who prosper off my fear and seek to destroy my peace.
Dear ancestors,
Walk with me,
Sharing your wisdom of survival and thriving.
I honor your sacrifices and all your labor.
Guide me,
Help me to live as a responsible ancestor,
To see this moment in the full arc of time,
Whisper to me in my dreams.
Creator,
I am surrendering all beliefs that I am in control.
I surrender my need to know.
I am open to what is,
Accepting each moment,
Each breath.
I offer my heart and hands to the work of the healing and liberation of all beings.
I trust the unfolding of the universe.
I trust myself.
I am grateful for each sacred breath.
May all beings know peace.
