Welcome to another calming story for kids,
Children's meditation,
Where we join Poppy on a magical animal adventure in the mountains.
Poppy is camping with her parents and as she explores the wilderness,
She already met a lot of animal friends.
The wild animals inspired Poppy,
They all told her a secret from nature,
Ooo ooo.
Poppy is the curious dog with pointy ears and big brown eyes,
Who is exploring the wilderness out in the mountains while she is camping with her parents.
She has already met the hawk,
The butterfly,
The spider and the hummingbirds as she keeps walking.
Poppy rejoins her family on their walk up a mountain trail.
They follow the sandy route between granite rocks and pine trees,
Higher and higher,
Until oh,
What is this?
Poppy sees a snake moving slowly through the sand in front of her.
Poppy notices how the snake never goes in a straight line,
But curves and bends this way and that way,
Just like the trail.
Do you know that all life has the same movement?
The snake softly speaks.
Everything in nature moves the way I do.
Observe the stream running down a mountain,
See how it curves left and right like me.
Observe the footprints of a person in the sand,
The trunk of a tree,
Or how the smoke from the fire leads up in circles to the sky.
It is the movement of life.
Everything moves in a spiral,
Wavy way.
Can you see the movement of life?
Poppy's mouth hangs wide open in awe.
Thank you,
Snake,
For all your wisdom.
I never noticed that before.
Poppy waves goodbye to the snake.
She now understands that the easiest way to walk up or down a mountain is in a curvy way,
The movement of life.
This is the end of the snake story,
The movement of life.
Where else can you see it in your daily life?
Now let's take a deep breath together,
In and out,
And let it out slowly,
Push it out like the air out of a balloon.
Feel how calm and peaceful your body feels,
Just like Poppy did after her magical adventure.
You are safe and you are loved,
And tomorrow is a new day filled with wonder.
Sweet dreams,
Little one,
Says Poppy.
Woof,
Woof!
