Welcome to this ocean meditation.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in and out.

Feel your belly move up and down.

Maybe place a hand on your belly and feel it rising up and down.

Feel your body relax like a gentle wave rolling onto the shore.

Now imagine you are sitting on a soft sandy beach.

The sun is warm on your skin and a cool ocean breeze tickles your face.

You hear the waves whispering as they dance back and forth,

Back and forth.

The ocean has a secret to share with you,

The magic of breath.

Just like the waves,

Your breath moves in and out,

In and out.

Take a deep breath in just like a wave rising up and slowly breathe out like the wave rolling back into the sea.

Let's try again.

Breathe in and out.

As you breathe,

Imagine you are part of the ocean.

Maybe you are a little fish,

Gliding through the water,

Feeling safe and free.

Or maybe you are a dolphin,

Jumping and playing in the waves.

The ocean is always moving,

Always breathing,

Just like you.

Now place your hands on your belly and feel it rise like a wave when you breathe in and fall like the wave returning home when you breathe out.

The ocean is always here,

Calm and strong,

And so are you.

Take one more deep breath in and slowly let it out.

How do you feel?

Can you notice that you are more relaxed now?

When you are ready,

Wiggle your fingers and toes and gently open your eyes.

The ocean spirit is always with you,

Reminding you to breathe,

To flow and to be free.
