Welcome.
My name is Natalie and I am so happy that you are here today.
This is a practice to come back to yourself.
So take a moment to arrive.
Wherever you are right now.
Allow yourself to pause.
You might be sitting at your desk.
You might be walking in a park.
You might be lying in bed.
Or you might simply be taking a few minutes for yourself.
You don't need to change anything.
Just notice that you are here and stay present.
And I want to invite you to take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
And gently exhale.
And again,
Breathing in and out.
And breathing out.
One more time.
If it feels safe,
You can always close your eyes.
And inhale slowly.
And exhale completely.
Now let your breathing return to its natural rhythm.
Notice your body.
Notice your feet.
Your hands.
Your shoulders.
Your jaw.
And if you notice any tension anywhere.
You don't need to force it away.
Simply give yourself permission to soften.
To not to hold on to this tension.
And then feel the space around your body.
The space that belongs to you.
For the next moments,
Let these words be a reminder of something you may sometimes forget.
You are allowed to choose yourself.
You are allowed to choose yourself You will be hearing 22 powerful affirmations.
You might not believe every affirmation immediately.
And that is okay.
Let the resistance be there.
Just listen.
Let the words move through you.
And if one of them speaks to you,
Repeat it silently to yourself.
Now remember that you can still come back to these words whenever you need them.
Here we go.
I am allowed to have boundaries.
I am allowed to have boundaries.
My needs matter too.
My needs better too.
I can say no without feeling guilty.
I can say no without feeling guilty.
I do not need to explain myself to make my boundaries valid.
I do not need to explain myself to make my boundaries valid.
I am allowed to change my mind.
I am allowed to change my mind.
I can take time before giving an answer.
I can take my time before giving an answer.
I trust myself to know what feels right for me.
I trust myself to know what feels right for me.
Continue to breathe and notice what happens in your body as you're hearing these words.
Simply observe.
I do not need to make everyone happy.
I do not need to make everyone happy.
Someone else's disappointment does not mean I have done something wrong.
Someone else's disappointment does not mean I have done something wrong.
I am not responsible for managing everyone else's emotions.
I am not responsible for managing everyone else's emotions.
I can care deeply about someone and still say no.
I can care deeply about someone and still say no.
I can be kind without abandoning myself.
I can be kind without abandoning myself.
Take another slow breath in.
And let it go.
Observe what is happening within you.
My energy is precious and I choose where I give it.
My energy is precious and I choose where I give it.
I am allowed to protect my peace.
I am allowed to protect my peace.
I am allowed to take up space.
I am allowed to take up space.
I listen to my body when it tells me something is too much.
I listen to my body when it tells me something is too much.
I give myself permission to walk away from what drains me.
I give myself permission to walk away from what drains me.
And again continue to breathe.
Remember,
You don't need to fight for your boundaries.
You don't need to become hard.
You don't need to become someone you're not.
You can be soft and still be clear.
You can be loving and still have limits.
You can be compassionate and still choose yourself.
My no protects the space for my true yes.
My no protects the space for my true yes.
I choose relationships where my boundaries are respected.
I choose relationships where my boundaries are respected.
I trust myself to honour what I need,
Even when it feels uncomfortable.
I trust myself to honor what I need,
Even when it feels uncomfortable.
I release the need for permission to be true to myself.
I release the need for permission to be true to myself.
And now one final affirmation.
Take a deep breath in and feel your body.
Feel your presence.
Feel yourself here.
I choose myself without apology.
I choose myself without apology.
And one more time to let this one land.
I choose myself without apology.
And take a slow breath in and exhale.
Feel the strength in that choice.
Not the strength of pushing anyone away.
Not the strength of becoming harder.
But the quiet strength of coming back to yourself.
Like you're pulling in a rope.
Pulling and pulling towards your heart,
Towards your navel center,
Your solar plexus,
There where all your power resides.
And you can return to these words whenever you need them.
When you're about to say yes out of guilt.
When you're feeling responsible for someone else's feelings.
When you've given too much.
When you need to pause.
When you need to remember where you end and someone else begins.
Take one final breath.
Inhale.
And exhale slowly.
Remember,
You are allowed to have needs.
You are allowed to have limits.
You are allowed to protect your energy and you are allowed to change your mind.
You are allowed to say no and you are always allowed to come back to yourself.
Carry this with you and when you need it again,
Come back here.
If you had closed your eyes,
Then gently open them again.
Come back into your space.
It might be a good idea to journal or maybe.
.
.
Write down the affirmations that you really needed to hear.
And if you feel that this resonated with you,
And that others around you might need to hear this too,
Do not hesitate to let them know that this track exists also for them.
Until the next time,
Namaste.
