Welcome.
My name is Nathalie and I am so grateful you are here with me today.
I would like to ask you first to find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Allow your hands to gently rest where they feel most natural.
Softly close your eyes or lower your gaze.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale deeply and exhale,
Release.
And now slowly let your breath return to its natural rhythm.
Today we'll connect with the energy of Green Tara,
The goddess of compassion,
Inaction,
Protection and swift support.
Green Tara is known as the Buddha of enlightened action.
She represents compassion that moves into action,
Protection from fear and obstacles,
And courage to step forward on your path.
In Buddhist traditions,
She is said to have vowed to always return in female form to help beings awaken and to respond quickly to those who call upon her.
She is often portrayed with one foot extended forward,
Ready to rise,
Ready to act,
Ready to support.
Her energy is gentle yet powerful,
Soft yet fearless.
You might feel called to Green Tara today.
Maybe you are facing uncertainty or fear.
Maybe you need courage to take a step forward.
Or maybe you are healing emotional wounds.
You might long for protection,
Clarity or guidance.
And maybe you are ready to move on,
But something is holding you back.
Whatever the reason is,
Trust that you have picked the right meditation.
That the right meditation has picked you.
Green Tara is here to remind us that we are supported,
Guided and stronger than we think.
Now gently bring your awareness to your heart space.
And ask yourself gently,
What do I need right now?
And let a simple intention or sankalpa arise.
A quiet inner statement in the present tense.
For example,
I am supported and protected.
I move forward with courage and trust.
I act from compassion and clarity.
Now decide on your sankalpa and repeat your sankalpa silently three times.
And let it settle into your body,
Like a seed being planted.
Now let's begin a slow journey through the body.
There is nothing for you to do,
Just follow my voice.
Bring your awareness to your right hand,
Thumb,
Index finger,
Middle finger,
Ring finger,
Little finger.
Palm of the hand.
Back of the hand.
Wrist.
Forearm.
Elbow.
Upper arm.
Shoulder.
Right side of the chest.
Your waist.
Your head.
Your hip.
Your right thigh.
Your knee.
Lower leg.
Ankle.
Heel.
Sole of the foot.
Top of the foot.
Big toe.
Fourth toe.
And little toe.
Now bring your awareness to the left side.
Your left hand.
Thumb.
Index finger.
Middle finger.
Ring finger.
Little finger.
Palm of the hand.
Back of the hand.
Wrist.
Forearm.
Elbow.
Upper arm.
Shoulder.
Left side of the chest.
Your waist.
Your hip.
Lower leg.
Ankle.
Your heel.
Your sole.
Top of the foot.
Your big toe.
Second toe.
Third toe.
Fourth toe.
Little toe.
To your lower back.
Mid back.
Upper back.
To your right shoulder blade.
Left shoulder blade.
The back of your neck.
The back of your head.
Now bring your awareness to your front body.
Your forehead.
Your eyebrows.
The space between your eyebrows.
The space behind your closed eyes.
Both of your cheeks.
Your nose.
Your lips.
Your chin.
Your throat.
Your chest.
Your heart space.
Your belly.
Your lower abdomen.
And I feel your whole body.
Resting.
Supported.
Presented.
Present.
Now imagine a soft green light appearing above you.
A radiant,
Luminous green.
Alive with compassion.
And this light gently takes form.
The presence of Green Tara.
And she sits before you or above you.
Surrounded by a glowing emerald aura.
And her gaze is kind.
Loving.
And deeply compassionate.
One hand extended towards you.
Offering protection.
And the other hand holding a lotus flower.
Symbol of purity and awakening.
Take a moment to feel her presence.
You may silently repeat her mantra if it feels right.
OM TARE TUTTARE TURESOHA OM TARE TUTTARE TURESOHA OM TARE TUTTARE TURESOHA Let the sound echo gently within you.
And now imagine her green light flowing towards you.
Entering through the crown of your head.
Filling your entire body.
This light dissolves fear.
Releases tension.
Clears doubt.
It moves into your heart.
Expanding.
Softening.
Opening.
Feel this courage awakening within.
Feeling.
Feel clarity.
Feel trust.
And if there is something in your life where you feel stuck,
Gently bring it into your awareness.
And now see yourself moving forward.
Supported by this green light.
Protected.
Guided.
Held.
And let Green Tara's energy remind you.
You are not alone.
You are safe to move forward.
You are supported in taking action.
Now rest in this space for a few moments.
And now slowly begin to bring your awareness back to your breath.
Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest.
Notice the space around you.
The temperature.
The noise.
The smell.
And notice the surface beneath your body.
And now bring your awareness back.
And also bring your sankalpa back.
Repeat it one more time silently.
And trust that it has been received.
And now gently start to introduce some micro-movements into your body.
Open and closing your hands.
Wiggling your toes.
And maybe start stretching your body softly.
Remain with your eyes closed.
And if you are lying down,
Gently bend your legs.
And move over to the right side or the left side.
And support your head with one of your arms.
And while you are lying there in fetus position,
Take a moment to thank yourself for this time.
And then gently,
Gently push yourself up into a seated meditative position.
Before I send you off,
I want you to know that now you can carry the energy of Green Tara with you.
Into your choices.
Into your actions.
Into your heart.
Remember to move gently,
But with courage.
And we are going to close this practice with one om and three shanties.
So inhaling deeply,
Filling up your chest and belly with air.
Shanty,
Shanty.
Gently start rubbing your palms together.
Bringing in some heat,
Some energy.
And then gently place your left hand onto your heart.
Your right hand on top of your left hand.
Feeling this warmth.
Maybe still imagining the color green.
Bow down your head.
Lift up the corners of your mouth.
Open your eyes.
And come up with a beautiful smile.
Until the next time.
Namaste.
Namaste.
