Giving Up Vs Surrender

I am sharing with you fresh inspiration after going through a nightmare. What is giving up and what is surrender? How can we surrender to the high power if we should never give up? This is a short reflection on the matter.

What is giving up versus surrender? I've just had a bad dream in which something awful happened after we gave up and when I just woke up I've said to myself that this dream is so disturbing I need to analyze it and when I got to the bottom of it I knew that it was giving up that led to those negative consequences in the dream and then I was relieved and almost ready to go back to sleep until I remembered a tip to read a book by Bono called Surrender and not only this tip but the general great idea of surrender. So what are we supposed to do? Give up or surrender or never never give up like Churchill said and never surrender like the Foo Fighters said. I don't know I'm recording it really freshly 6 in the morning when I normally wake up at 7. 30 because this nightmare awoke me. Now after pausing for reflection I can say that for me surrender is always to the higher power to the higher light to God and giving up is giving up to circumstances and people. Knowing one from another in our heart is the greatest art that can keep us safe and stubbornness, Determination, Unapologetic ambition, All those fiery qualities are totally appropriate when we are the heroes in our lives fighting for what's right for what is our path and what is the good that we are defending but never can we take up those arms against the divine which is the light force and inspiration within us and also never should we take up those arms against ourselves against our own soul. We shouldn't give up our values for the sake of our ambitions and this may sound simple but there are situations when you don't know why you want to do something because it is your calling or because it is your greed, Desire. This is why exercising your mental strength and clarity is what can help you stay true to yourself and however much we develop our skills and sharpen our arms it's no use if we do not see clearly as to where we should apply them. So without making a grand conclusion I just surrender to the Spirit and extend an invitation to all listening to dedicate time and attention not only to building up your personality but also to consciously clearing the pathways listening, Stopping and just listening, Writing, Receiving and training yourself to receive.
