Welcome to this meditation.

We are going to be refreshed and recharged to join the choir of life.

Listen to the birds in the background.

I'm sending you the energy from this natural place.

You can close your eyes and sit comfortably or you can keep your eyes open.

It would be nice if you can look at something green maybe even a houseplant or if you are also in a park or natural environment this is great but if you're not then please take this energy from this meditation.

Please breathe naturally.

You can take one deep breath in and out to just let go of everything,

Of the tension.

The purpose of this meditation will not be to let go but rather to be nourished.

Now breathe naturally and with every breath you take imagine this pure joy,

The juice of life that the birds are transmitting in their singing.

Just enter your body with every breath you take.

Imagine that the sound of this beautiful symphony of the forest is entering your body with every inhale.

Feel the freshness of the air.

Breathe.

I will tell you why birds are so calming for us.

I've heard that when people used to live in nature too,

They interpreted the sound of singing as a sign of safety that there are no big dangerous predators around and birds feel free to sing.

This is why it's so calming.

A lot of noises that there are in the human world irritate us but not so many noises are so ugly by their design.

It's just that we have created such a society of tension and threat and the sound of people and cars and electrical equipment it doesn't make us feel safe.

The birds nourish us now.

They are nourishing,

They're giving the peace back to us.

Maybe we can find peace in the human world too if we trust people more,

If we can find ourselves in a friendly surrounding such as a park.

Notice,

Take every chance to interpret the people also as friendly beings.

Take every chance to enjoy how children are laughing,

How friends are chatting.

Take it in every time you hear it as you take in the song of birds you're hearing now.

And now we are going to be reborn a little bit.

Exhale and take very very deep breath in the deepest that you can and hold.

Hold for several seconds.

Hold.

Hold until it's uncomfortable,

Until you crave that air back,

That freshness,

That blessing of life.

Hold as much as you can and when you're ready let it go.

Exhale.

Exhale and take a new fresh breath in and just return to your normal breath.

This is enough to be a little bit reborn.

You are new and just as the singing birds express themselves now go into life and express yourself with voice,

With movement,

With just daily tasks that you do but smile to the world and try to add to the choir of life to make it friendly and safe for us all.
