This meditation is for connecting with your womb and your baby.
Sitting comfortably,
Close your eyes and breathe gently into your nose,
Exhaling through your mouth.
Become aware of your feet.
Your toes.
And your ankles.
Relax them.
Now feel how your calves are,
If they are swollen or sore.
Connect to your calves and release any tension here.
Now start feeling your knees,
Connecting,
Bringing attention to your knees.
If there's any discomfort in your knees,
Release them with your exhale breath.
Release the muscles in your thighs.
Now start connecting to your pelvis and check for any muscle tension here.
Release any tension with your breath.
I'll check how connect to your back.
If there's any discomfort in your back,
Release it with your exhalation.
Bring attention now to your middle back.
And your upper back.
Relax your shoulder blades and your shoulders.
Bring attention to your neck.
And your arms and allow your neck to relax and your arms to hang loosely by your sides.
Release your head now.
Relax your cheeks and open your jaw slightly,
Releasing any tension held in the jaw.
Now exhale.
And inhale.
And exhale again gently through your nose and focus on your heart.
And notice with every heartbeat.
Oxygen is being sent to you and your baby.
Now start visualizing a golden sphere enveloping your heart.
And from this fear emanate many rays of golden light expanding outwards from your body.
These rays will go upwards to the sides and down and pulsate outwards from your body.
And these rays of golden light represent the love you have for your baby,
Expanding outwards from you,
Filling up your aura,
Relaxing you and leading you to a state of peace and trust.
Now concentrate all of that love into a single ray of golden light radiating from your heart towards your womb.
Like a waterfall flowing from your heart towards your womb.
Allow this water to keep flowing down from your heart to your womb.
Fill with each breath.
The immense love you have for your baby.
And as you nourish your womb with that love,
Nourish your womb that is nourishing your baby.
You can place your hands on your belly.
Thanking your womb.
For having created a placenta that cares for you and nourishes your baby.
And continue to feel how this golden light from your heart blesses your baby's placenta and your baby.
Feel how your heartbeat and your baby's heartbeat are connected.
How your blood and their blood are connected through the placenta with every inhale and exhale.
With every inhale.
And exhale,
Feel how your heartbeat and your baby's heartbeat are connected.
How the blood is flowing from yours and connected through them.
To the placenta.
Transmit tranquility to your baby with all your love,
Assuring them that everything is absolutely fine.
That they are growing in a place that protects them.
Now imagine what it's like.
When your baby is born.
When you see him for the first time,
When you smell him,
When you hold him in your arms and kiss him for the first time,
When you cradle him in your chest and tell him he was so wanted.
And that He is coming to this family where everyone is wanting him with so much love and everybody has been waiting for him.
With each breath,
Feel how this light,
This love continues to reach your baby,
Your uterus,
Your placenta.
Visualize him floating,
Warm,
Happy,
Comfortable,
And most importantly,
Safe.
Feel how every fibre of your uterus and placenta is glowing with golden light and feel your uterus relaxing without any tension.
Now bring the light of your heart to your cervix.
Fill it with this light,
This love and feel it soften,
Feel the cervix completely soften and thank it for being the guardian of the birth portal.
Visualise the cervix to be soft,
Relaxed and free of tension.
Stay here for a while.
Breathing and blessing your cervix.
Now start speaking to your baby and tell your baby that you love him.
And you're waiting for him with so much joy.
Thank your uterus and placenta and tell your placenta that you will also receive her with so much love and respect and thank her for taking care of your baby and allowing you to be a mother.
Return to your heart.
Maybe you would like to put your hand on your heart or feel your heartbeat again and thank your heart which began to beat when you were just six weeks pregnant.
Thank it for your life.
Take a deep breath here,
Exhaling slowly.
And take that breath to your feet.
Feel your feet.
Remove your toes.
Without opening your eyes,
Start moving your ankles,
Your calves,
Your knees,
Your legs and your hips.
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
Just gently move your body.
And when you feel ready,
Start opening your eyes.
And take a moment to feel your connection again with your uterus,
Your cervix,
Your placenta and your baby.
