And this time together is an invitation to reconnect with the natural current of life force energy that moves through you.
Feel this as the meeting place of heaven and earth within your own body.
A quiet remembering of the light you already are.
Find a comfortable position,
Sitting or lying down.
Let your hands rest open,
Palms facing upward,
Ready to receive.
Take a few slow breaths in and deep exhales out.
Allow your breath to lengthen and settle.
Bring awareness to the simple contact points,
The surface beneath you,
The texture of the air.
Let your shoulders soften,
Your jaw unclench,
Your chest open slightly.
With each exhale,
Release whatever you've been carrying today.
You don't need to do Reiki,
You only need to become available to its flow.
Now imagine about the crown of your head a radiant spark of white gold light.
This light is a star chakra,
The gateway to the higher realms.
It glows softly,
Alive and aware.
From this spark,
A beam of light descends,
Slender and luminous,
Touching the top of your head and then moving gently down into the centre of your chest.
As it reaches your heart,
Feel warmth,
Clarity and peace.
This is the light of heaven,
Consciousness and guidance flowing down to meet you.
Whisper gently to yourself,
I open to receive the light of heaven.
Now shift your attention to a spark of equal brilliance beneath the soles of your feet.
This is your earth star chakra,
The anchor of your soul on earth.
From this spark,
A golden white beam rises,
Travelling upward through your legs into your heart.
Feel stability and strength rising from below,
The support of the soil,
The stones,
The roots and all that sustains life.
Whisper gently to yourself,
I root into the living earth,
I am supported and safe.
The two currents meet in the centre of your chest.
Heaven descending,
Earth ascending,
Converging into a radiant bright emerald green light at your heart.
See two interlocking triangles,
One pointing downward,
One pointing upward,
Forming a balanced star within your chest.
They begin to turn,
Slowly at first,
Then smoothly,
Creating a gentle vortex of light.
With every breath,
This fusion expands,
Harmony of above and below,
Spirit and matter,
Consciousness and embodiment.
Your heart becomes a bridge,
Glowing with peaceful strength.
Let yourself rest in that union for a few breaths.
From the heart,
Light begins to move along your shoulders,
Flowing down both arms.
It spirals gently through the forearms and into your palms.
You might feel warmth,
Tingling or pulsing or simply an awareness of presence.
Your hands become channels of pure energy,
Carrying the unified light of heaven and earth.
You are the conduit,
The current flows through you effortlessly.
If you wish,
Bring your palms towards your heart,
Or hover them above any part of your body that is asking for comfort.
Sense the light transferring,
Harmonizing,
Restoring balance.
Whisper gently to yourself,
Energy flows freely through me,
From source,
Through my heart,
Into the world.
Stay here a little longer.
Let the energy continue to move through you,
Effortless,
Intelligent,
Alive.
It knows exactly where to go and what to do.
Breathe softly,
Simply allowing.
You might feel warmth pulsing in the palms of your hands,
A subtle current through the arms,
Or a gentle wave of peace washing through the whole body.
Sense this light circulating,
Not just within you,
But around you.
Your aura is becoming luminous,
Soft,
Expansive.
You are surrounded by a cocoon of radiant energy,
Raking in motion,
Light in form.
Gradually,
The intensity begins to soften.
The glow in your hands and heart doesn't vanish.
It becomes quieter,
Steadier,
It settles,
Like embers that still warm the air.
See the light of Reiki beginning to fade to a soft shimmer,
Resting now within your heart.
You carry it effortlessly,
A subtle hum of connection between heaven and earth.
Now,
Gently bring your awareness to the stillness within this glow.
Notice what you feel,
Peace,
Gratitude,
Clarity,
Or simply calm presence.
There's no need to analyse,
Just sense the shift that has taken place.
Place one hand over your heart and the other over your belly,
Feeling the rhythm of your own life force,
The breath moving beneath your hands.
Let the energy anchor here,
Grounded,
Embodied,
Real.
Begin to notice the surface beneath you again,
The air on your skin,
The gentle sounds of the space you're in.
When you're ready,
Deepen your breath,
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
Allow your eyes to open softly.
Take one last centered breath and whisper to yourself,
Heaven above,
Earth below,
Heart at the center,
The flow of Reiki is within me.
