Use breathing techniques to calm your mind down.

If you've ever noticed when you're panicked or stressed,

We have shallow breath and we increase the pace of our breathing.

Well,

The opposite is also true.

If you slow your breathing down,

You actually slow the pace of your thoughts down as well.

So if you're starting to feel overwhelmed or anxious,

Take a few moments to stop what you're doing,

Close your eyes,

And bring your attention to your breathing.

Slow your breath down,

And try to remember what it feels like to feel calm,

To feel tranquil and peaceful.

And if you find that your mind is getting worried or rushing off again,

Whenever you notice that,

Just bring your awareness back to your breathing and keep the pace of your breath as slow as possible.
