Good morning my love and welcome to this morning check-in meditation.
This meditation is meant to help you start your day with presence and connection to yourself and to your body so that you can take a better care of yourself throughout your day because you're grounded and your body really knows what it needs today.
So before we start I'm inviting you to find a comfortable seat,
Having your spine straight,
Your legs relaxed,
Your arms relaxed and then slowly closing down your eyes and taking a nice and deep breath in through your nose,
Expanding your belly and then your chest,
Your ribcage and then hold your breath for a moment at the top and then a slow conscious exhale out through your mouth.
And do that again,
A full breath in,
Expanding your belly and your heart,
Holding the breath at the top and exhale.
One more time like that,
A full breath in,
Hold and then a slow releasing breath out,
Letting go,
Letting go,
Letting go and then continuing to breathe easily in and out through the nose and allowing that breath to flow easily and effortlessly.
I'm beginning to notice how your body feels after last night's sleep,
If there is any tightness in your muscles,
Any tiredness in your bones or anything else.
How does your body feel?
What sensations can you pick up in your body?
And without trying to change anything,
Just observe and then from your body,
You move your attention towards your mind.
Any dreams that have left thoughts,
Ideas in your mind?
What was the first thing you thought about when your brain woke up this morning?
And again,
This is just a check-in.
There is nothing you have to do with this information yet.
All you're doing right now is feeling into the sensations of your body,
The thoughts in your mind and lastly,
The feelings in your heart.
Because how is your heart feeling right now,
Today?
Does your heart feel heavy or light,
Warm or cold,
Closed or open?
And from this place of connection with yourself,
Knowing a little bit better how your body feels,
Your mind and your heart,
I'm inviting you to ask yourself two questions.
And the first question is,
How am I truly feeling right now,
Today?
So allow that answer to come.
Don't overthink it.
Usually,
The first answers that arrive are the right ones.
How am I truly feeling right now,
Today?
And if I know the answer to that question,
Then the second question is,
What does that information tell me about what I truly need right now,
Today?
What does that tell me about what I truly need right now,
Today?
And again,
Just allowing the answer to come,
Not overthinking it.
And then give yourself a moment to just sit with the possibility of you acting upon this inner wisdom today,
Because you don't want to run through your day without presence and consciousness.
You want to feel connected and good.
So right now,
The invitation is to choose to maybe adjust or change your day slightly or not so slightly in a way that would make you feel really good,
In a way that would support you and your well-being better.
So what will make your day a little bit better today,
Based on this inner wisdom that you now have,
Because you checked in with yourself?
Now placing your hands on your body,
Somewhere where it feels supportive,
And make that commitment to yourself.
I will go through my day with presence and I will make choices that support my own well-being,
Even if that means I have to disappoint other people.
Take a deep breath in,
A deep breath out.

Deep breath out.
You are now ready for a productive,
Joyful and fulfilling day,
Because you are connected to yourself and you took out a small,
Simple moment before you rush into your day to check in with yourself.

Stretch out a little bit and get yourself ready.
