Want to Merry Christmas!

Take a moment to just relax.

Get yourself into a comfortable position and just take some deep breaths.

Make sure your breath is going all the way down to your belly button.

Breathe in through your nose and breathe out.

Breathe in through your nose and breathe out.

It's mind time.

This is time for you now so just relax.

You are standing outside and it is a beautiful clear night.

You look up and you see thousands and thousands of stars scattered over the entire sky.

There is one star in particular that grabs your attention.

As you gaze at this star you notice it is getting brighter and brighter.

The star that is shining the brightest tonight is yellow.

This yellow star is a reminder for us to celebrate our own uniqueness.

Unique means being the only one of its kind.

There is no one in this world exactly like you.

Nobody has your eyes,

Your hair,

Your fingerprints,

Your smile.

You are one of a kind.

You are unique.

The way you talk,

The words you use,

Your facial expressions,

They are all a part of you.

Being you is expressing who you truly are.

The way you act and what you say is expressing what you think and how you feel to others.

Being a young person today can be hard at times.

Certain pressures can begin at school,

When you are playing sport or maybe just within your home.

You may start to think I need to be like this person so more people will like me or I need to have this item to feel like I fit in.

Now this is not practicing your uniqueness and expressing who you are.

This is you trying to make an impression.

You are not here in this life to be like everyone else and you are certainly not here to impress anyone.

You are here to be you.

An expressive,

Unique human being.

Only one of its kind that is ready to shine your light in this world.

Express who you are.

Wear clothes that make you happy.

Play sports or games that make you happy.

Don't be afraid to share your feelings.

If that's what makes you happy,

Express it.

Show the world who you are and do not be afraid of it.

If you find yourself wearing something just because someone else is or doing something just because somebody else is,

Stop.

You are not being true to yourself.

The right friends will like you for who you are.

Not if you followed the latest fad or not.

You are responsible for your own happiness.

Ask yourself,

Am I enjoying what I'm doing?

Is it the right thing to do?

If the answer is yes,

Keep doing it.

Be the best version of yourself.

Spend time with the right friends,

The ones that make your heart sing and let you be you.

We are all unique.

We all have our own individual gifts and talents to share.

Express your gifts and talents to others so they can celebrate your uniqueness.

Compliment others on their achievements and what is unique to them.

Celebrate the differences between you.

There is no competition.

We are all equal.

Other people's success and achievements are not a reflection of your own.

Embrace yourself and be proud of who you are.

Think of a time where you have not been yourself and tried to impress someone.

Have you ever wanted to do something or perhaps wear something but you didn't in case of what others might think?

If it didn't matter what anybody else thought,

Who would you be and what would you do?

I'll give you a moment to think about it.

Well done.

It feels nice to be able to connect with yourself like this and to really get to know who you are.

Look down at your fingerprint.

Notice the lines,

The grooves,

The shape.

Remember no one in this whole wide world has the exact same fingerprint as you.

How great is it to be you?

Anytime you feel like you are not expressing who you truly are and you think you might be trying to impress someone,

Look back at your fingerprint.

Take a deep breath and remember what we have learnt today.

Don't hide who you are.

Celebrate it.

See light?

You
