Welcome.

Begin by finding a comfortable position for your body,

Either seated or lying down.

Allow your hands to rest softly on your lap or by your sides.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale,

Sigh it out through your mouth.

Again,

A deep breath in,

Filling your lungs,

Expanding your chest,

Releasing everything you've been holding onto today.

Let your body know it's safe to arrive here.

Allow your breath to be an invitation back home.

Bring your awareness to your physical body.

The weight of it,

The way it meets the earth beneath you.

Feel the support of the ground,

The chair,

The bed,

Whatever is holding you right now.

Notice how it never wavers.

It simply holds you.

Now soften your shoulders.

Unclench your jaw.

Let the space between your eyebrows smooth out.

Soften the belly,

The hips.

Allow your body to unwind,

As if melting toward the center of the earth.

With each breath,

Imagine roots extending from the base of your spine or the soles of your feet.

Finding steadiness.

Feel your roots drink in that sense of calm,

Stability.

You are supported.

Now begin to bring your awareness inward.

Imagine a small light glowing in the center of your chest,

At the heart space.

It may be golden,

White,

Or whatever color feels like home to you.

With each breath,

See that light grow brighter.

Spreading through your ribs,

Your shoulders,

Your toes,

Your fingertips,

Your throat,

Your face,

The crown of your head.

Let it flow down through your belly.

You are filled with your own steady light.

This light is your center,

Unchanging,

Calm,

No matter what happens around you.

This place within you remains still and clear.

If thoughts arise,

That's okay.

Imagine each one like a leaf floating down a stream.

You can notice it.

You may even admire its color.

But then let it pass.

Keep returning to the light,

To your breath,

This feeling of home inside yourself.

Every inhale,

Whisper softly or silently,

I come back to myself.

And with every exhale,

I release what is not mine.

Now feel that centered energy expand outward like ripples from a stone dropped into still water.

It fills your aura,

Your space.

Through this quiet place,

Ask yourself gently,

What does balance feel like in my body right now?

What does it mean to be centered?

Whatever it is,

Trust it.

You don't have to reach for it.

It's already here.

All you're doing is remembering.

Rest here for a few breaths.

Simply be.

Begin to deepen your breath once more.

Feel the rise in the ball of your chest,

The weight of your body,

The ground supporting you.

When your eyes are closed,

You can start to blink them softly open.

Notice the space around you.

Carry this grounded stillness with you into the rest of your day as a quiet reminder that no matter where you go,

Your center is always within reach.
