Hi,

How are you doing today?

I'm glad you're here with me.

I'm going to take a journey with the pine trees today.

I was wondering if you would like to come with me.

It's a very simple yet intuitive practice.

Essentially we are meditating with a tree or the tree spirit.

It's a way to connect deeper with nature,

Ground ourselves and see if we can share or gain any wisdom from the spirit we are connecting with.

There's a beautiful forest nearby that has a really special energy about it.

It's full of beautiful towering pine trees.

They feel like gentle giants and to be in their presence feels like you are being held by your ancestors.

As we begin to make our way there,

Here are a few important reminders for you.

I want you to remember that you are in control of your imagination and your experience here in the forest with me.

This is a safe space for you to let go and experience the forest in its full essence.

There is nothing to be afraid of here.

You are safe and you are protected.

We're getting closer.

It's just on the other side of that hill.

Can you see it?

Can you smell it?

I love the smell of pine trees.

It makes me feel alive,

Breathing in such fresh,

Clean air.

Ah,

Finally,

Here we are.

Wow,

It's so beautiful.

Look at the way the light is shining through the trees.

It's incredible,

Don't you think?

Let's go in.

Are you ready?

I feel so much peace here.

Something about these towering giants reminds me of who I am.

Come this way,

I want to show you something.

Do you see all these trees?

All of them are different,

Individual trees.

Kind of like people,

We feel drawn to some more than others.

Tell me,

Which tree are you drawn to?

Which one is calling you?

You don't have to think about it too much.

It's usually one of the first ones that catches your attention.

Okay,

Good.

Let's go over to it and say hello.

Have you ever connected deeper with a tree?

Would you like to?

Come over here.

Now,

Think about how you would greet a friend.

You can greet a tree in the same way.

You could also place your hand on the tree like this,

If you'd like to.

Go ahead and close your eyes now.

Take some deep breaths and really begin to feel the tree's energy.

Breathing really deeply into your body,

Allow yourself to connect with it fully.

Don't worry,

Everything is safe here.

Beneath your hands,

As you feel the varying rough textures of the tree,

You can almost feel the pulsating energy moving up and down,

Almost like the tree is breathing.

The tree is alive and like you,

It too can feel your presence.

Taking a few more intentional deep breaths,

Bringing yourself closer to the tree,

You begin to feel more comfortable and relaxed in its presence.

How are you feeling now?

Are there any emotions or sensations you feel?

What do you feel in your body?

In your heart?

Continue breathing deeply.

On this next breath in,

Begin to really connect with your heart space.

If you'd like to,

You could ask the tree to connect with it through your heart space,

If that feels right to you.

Keep breathing into your heart space.

I'm going to give you some space here with a tree.

If you'd like,

You can just spend time in your heart space.

You could also ask the tree any questions,

Or if it has any wisdom to share with you.

Now,

If this feels hard to decipher,

You can think of the answers as a feeling you get in your body,

Or in the form of an image.

I'm going to leave you connected together in this heart space with the tree for the next few minutes,

And I want you to see if you can allow yourself to feel and experience anything that comes up during this time.

Taking these last moments to receive any final wisdom,

Begin to take a few deep breaths together with the tree.

How are you feeling with the insights you received?

How are you feeling in your body?

In your heart?

Do you feel lighter,

Or perhaps more grounded?

Now,

Let's give our thanks to the tree.

Thank them for the time you connected together.

Thank them for sharing their heart space with you,

And thank them for any guidance or wisdom you received.

If you'd like,

You can give the tree a hug and take a couple of last deep breaths together.

As we begin to step away from our time with this tree,

We can bow in gratitude if that feels right for you,

Or simply acknowledge and give a last thank you for your time together.

Let's slowly begin to walk back through this forest together,

Giving gratitude for all that has been exchanged,

Breathing in the fresh air and allowing its presence to calm our bodies,

Mind,

And spirit.

Feeling more whole,

Complete,

Grounded,

And in our bodies,

We begin taking these last mindful steps towards the edge of the forest again.

With much gratitude and grace,

We say our last thanks and begin our journey back home.

And with that,

You can slowly start to wiggle your fingers and toes,

Take a big stretch,

Give yourself a big hug,

And slowly,

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Thank you so much for sharing this time with me and for joining me in this beautiful time connecting with nature.

Also,

Thank you for taking this time for yourself and your well-being.

I hope you have a calming and peaceful rest of your day,

And I hope to meet you here again soon.
