I Am - Lent Day 35: Do Not Let Your Hearts Be Troubled
by Mark Gladman
Think of those times of uneasiness we all go through. Now imagine Jesus looking into your eyes and saying, “Do not let your heart be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.” What stirs within you as you hear these words? Where in your life do you feel troubled, uncertain, afraid? Jesus continues, “I am the way, the truth, and the life." He is not just pointing to a path—He is the path. Not just offering peace—He is peace. Jesus prepares a place for you—not only in eternity but here, now, in this moment. A place of rest, belonging, and deep communion with God. Can you let go of your fear and trust that this place is real? That you are held, that you are known? In this reflective prayer, learn to trust Jesus and rest in the home prepared for not only in a life to come but in the life you live today.
